I found another one that thinks the earth stands still. check out the poll I linked to earlier.

I saw it. I don't believe it but I saw it.

Well, know-it everythings, if the earth moves, how come we don't fall down?

heehee

At least there's privacy in a women's bathroom.

One of the scenes in Schindler's List is a brief few-seconds shot of Amon going to the bathroom. I'm sure the scene could have been done quite nicely without including that. There's just some things that are private; and going to the bathroom is one of them for me. I neither want to watch nor be watched regarding that particular activity.

We do; it's just that the earth is moving so quickly that we upright ourselves instantaneously; it's a continuous cycle and explains why so many of us are so tired all the time.

My first day on this website I was told I was snarky.

Hmm snarky is one of my favorite words. Might have been me.

That's a term I usually reserve for describing myself...

So tell me please, poster above Kristine / phosadaud . . .

Do you prefer to be called:
- Group W
- W
- GW
?

Or perhaps even something entirely different?

NOONE calls me GW! My friends call me BT, Brian, or Brain (as in Pinky and the Brain. I have no idea why.) They also call me other stuff, but there are TOS issues with those.

I had never even heard the term, "snarky" until a couple of years ago; and it was here in the threads . . . and it took me a while to figure out what it meant.

Of course, that kinda coincides with what one of my very good friends from these threads described me as recently in a phone call . . .

"An innocent"

James, as near as I can tell, "snarky" is kinda like being facetious; but with an edge.

It describes an attitude, sort of a "Why are you challenging my point of view?" attitude.

LOL! Actually, one doesn't have anything to do with the other . . .
I was using my friend calling me "an innocent" as an example of why it took me so long to understand the meaning of "snarky"
