Ladies,

Do you think a guy looks good wearing a pink dress shirt with a suit and tie, or in a Casual Polo sport shirt, or just a plain old Pocket T shirt? Or do you think guys should stay away from Pink altogether?

Actually Pink has become very popular for men to wear.

I'm picky though to me it depends on your coloring on whether it will look good on you or not.

Sure, why not? In fact, if you're confident enough to wear pink, you're probably pretty comfortable with your masculinity.

Hmmm . . . the "opposite" of pink is for girls is that blue is for boys . . . and I know many women who wear various shades of blue, and do so very nicely.

edited, to add: LOL - I had totally forgotten about my avatar. Just to clarify, I was not thinking of myself, but rather other women when I wrote this.




As to the OP, I think it would depend on the shade of pink and the coloring of the man . . . the same way not all colors look good on all women.

I hate those kind of sterotypes. I can understand it when kids are little. But not when they get older. Pink is like the navy blue of india. Some things are just cultural traditions and nothing more.

If you want to wear it - go for it. Be bold. Be loud. Be proud [sm=thumbsup.gif]

It can look good on certain guys.. but pink's not for everyone... I mean that for girls too... I dont look great in pink...

Dress shirts are about the only pink shirt I think guys should wear... T-shirt is a little weird... *shrugs* just my thought

It can kind of depend on the shade of pink too... maybe it's how the different shades work with their coloring though...

For the most part, I'm not particular for a guy wearing pink. But I have found guys who have darker complexions, copper complexions or very tan, can look quite stunning in pink.[8D] It just depends.

i think pink is a feminine color, and its a turn off to me to see a dude wearing pink. i want a guy to be manly...how manly is a guy in a pink shirt?

Nah, not really.

I know a guy who used to wear his pink shirt often only because some of the girls found it cute. But it doesn't really do anything for me. I prefer blue. [:)]

I like dark colors, personally. And grey. Yes, I'm boring.

That said, my exbf had a vibrant pink shirt that said "Real men follow Christ." It was a funny take on the real men wear pink thing. I DID think that was cute.[&:]

The cut and style of clothing says a lot more to me about a man's masculinity than the color. I have absolutely no problem with a man wearing pink as long as the clothing are still clearly men's clothing. It's when you can't tell anymore that it becomes disturbing. I can't stand to see guys walking around looking like they just raided their girlfriend's closet. [:'(]

I don't like it personally and overlook it. Even if the guy is a big hairy guy, he still looks like he is trying to be shocking. It doesn't impress me.

I agree that pink is fine for a man and that the shade should compliment his coloring. I think a man avoiding pink because its girly is silly... pink in and of itself doesn't make a man appear feminine any more than wearing blue or green makes a woman appear masculine. The cut of clothing and behavior of the one wearing it has a much greater effect on stating gender than the coloring does.

I think a lot of men look great in pink, but like a lot of other posters, it depends on the man's coloring. I'm also going to add, if you don't feel confident wearing a particular color, for whatever reason, don't wear it. Clothes shouldn't make you feel bad[:)].
