AHEM! I would like to point out that for those of us in the U.S. that aren't able to get Adams PB, the next best thing is Jif. After all choosy moms choose it.

But crunchy peanut butter is an abomination. Totally sinful.

I am very familiar with what peanut butter is sold here due to the scare with Peter Pan and Great Value some time back. I checked out what all was available. I still had never heard of Adams til I read it here.

I may just have to do that soon. One thing a person must never scrimp on is peanut butter. Like... ever.

I'm really gonna have to rethink my opinions on some of you folks around here with pigs feet, spam casserole and other dishes on the menu while good traditional stuff like sweet ice tea is not allowed.
I'm with ya on the pigs feet and spam casserole, but I'm definitely not understanding you at all with the sweet tea thing.

There's something so soothing and reassuring about sitting outside in the evenings, drinking sweet iced tea out of sweaty glasses while enjoying some friendly conversation with neighbors and friends. I'm really starting to wonder if the sweet iced tea isn't a southern thing, lol. At our family reunion, there's always two coolers full of tea - the unsweet tea doesn't disappear at near the rate the sweet tea does.

When the weather is hot and sticky and you have been mowing the yard, digging in the garden or some other hot and sweaty thing the last thing you want is a overly sweet drink. It is too much of a shock to the system.

And since I'm on a roll, I'd like to add that peanut butter must be whipped within an inch of it's life (until it's smooth and creamy) and with NO chunks of peanuts in it.

Any other version is pure evil.

Another correct answer.

For some reason that popped into my mind last night.

I started to ask if it might have been Mr. Calabash.
