Hmm. In my opinion, these bans make RFID chips MORE likely to be associated with the Mark of the Beast than less.

It's always been my understanding that the Mark was going to be something that a person had to opt into. Why would God punish someone for something that they were forced to do? Sin has always been about our choices, so taking the Mark would have to be a matter of choice. The Mark has to be a symbol of choosing to defy God and follow the Beast, not a "we're making you take this *inject hypodermic filled with sedative*" or "oh, by the way, that thing you had done 2 years ago for work? Yeah, we've decided that's the Mark of the Beast now, SURPRISE!"

I'm quite happy about the law, of course, I don't think anyone should be forced to have something injected into them by their employer or school or what have you, but I kind of think the whole "Is this the Mark of the Beast?!" hysterics over various things is a little silly. If there comes a time when you are blatantly given a choice to reject God and take a certain mark identifying you with a primary minion of Satan, I don't think there will really be any confusion about what exactly it is you're doing.

Someone will bring to market a device that will scramble or totally disable the transmitter, just like we have radar detectors we will have ID jammers. If you know electronics it could be a great business opportunity.

The articles I read indicated that there have been no cases of forced implantation of these chip. The states are probably being proactive in their approach to this obvious breach of a person's civil rights. Three down 48 (I included Washington DC) to go.

BTW, Where's the federal gov't in all this. I have heard rumors that they are for implantation for members of the armed forces and those with certain security clearances. Anyone heard anything about this?

I haven't heard anything and I have a clearance. Haven't heard anything from all my military buddies either.

My guess is that if they tried it there would be several court cases immediately, and the Supreme Court would knock it over very fast.

True, but the Bible also declare(s) that the Antichrist will perceive any persons refusal to accept his mark as an indication that their going to accept Jesus Christ & Satan going to kill anyone who plans to go to heaven to be with God & not to hell (or, the lake of fire) with him.

Can you show me where I can find that? In Revelation it simply states you can't buy or sell without the mark. What you mention sounds more like something out of a LaHaye book.

Correct stellaluna, this is why I view RFID (only) as a prelude to Revelation 13:16 -17 (KJV)

I heard, perhaps 30 years ago, that credit cards would be the prelude to the mark. Then it was UPC codes. Then it was debit cards and car remotes and cell phones and iPods...

There's no mandate in the Great Commission to try to figure out God's time-table or how the antichrist might devise his mark. But if it will help, few of us have another 50 years left on earth. Some of us won't be alive in 20 years. One or two might be gone this time next year. Fact is, none of us have a guarantee that we'll be around to wake up next Monday morning.

So, regardless of when or how the mark is perfected or when the Lord returns, we are all living on limited time. We are, as Jesus told us, approaching the "night" when none of us can work for the Kingdom in this life. Let that occupy your motivation to reach the lost and minister to others in Jesus' name instead of guessing which new gadget will be Satan's play toy.

The chips? Perhaps, but there is another way that Christians can be brought down, and it is with a device in the ear. There are people spying, even as I write. They broke the law..the law of the land, and the law of God. They are arrogant, and consider themselves quite something. They are rude.
Micro-mini hearing aids can be put in anyone's ear. Or I should say, if whoever the unlawful are...don't follow the anything--man or God, and
decide you are going to be targeted--
There are "trackers" now. They use it to track mammals, but if you have someone with a really ugly mindset, they will use it on whomever they will. No mercy. It is being done today. The goal? For Christians to be snooped on for whatever it is ...of their habits or a weakness, so that they can be pulled down & whatever.
The person....the ugly person would have to know medical knowledge, and sci-tech knowledge. It is being done today. Geek.com has something on it, and it is being done today. Actually, it was begun in 2002. Some
people have a very strong hate against Christians. It is not necessarily the government. These are private citizens...& with money...up to no good for any Christian.

Well I guess none of us are going to be left behind, maybe, for it is written that the false prophet leader called the antichrist will make war on the saints of God Most High and conquer alot of them. He will kill anyone who does not take the mark of the false worldly prophet leader as written. It is written: this calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints. And Blessed are the dead that die in The Lord. These that overcome the mark of the beast will be delcared priests and they will Reign with Christ Jesus after the first Resurrection during the Millennium. What a great reward that God will bestow on those that suffer persecution for the faith of Christ Jesus' Testimony among the nations. For the Martyrs will be priests as it is written. Starting with righteous Able as Jesus said.

Jim, I would like to know something: Why would God tell the believers so much about what was going to occur if it was irrelevant for them to take notice and make spiritual preparations to die, if necessary, for the faith?

Hi All
It is my understanding that all that have the mark will be judged and asked why they have it.
By ALL I assume all people from the beginning of time not just those in end times ? This makes sense to me as it would hardly be fair if only those in end times will be susceptible to this mark.
So seeing Jesus took away all blood sacrificial sin if we repent, then it brings us back to the question............ what was the original sin ??
This could be the mark of the beast ???

Any thought would be apreciated.
