A 15 yr old boy from Ariel Israel was seriously wounded in a bomb blast a few days ago. He opened a Purim package that was a bomb and it exploded in his hands. The fact that he is even alive in a miracle. Here is the lastest update on him. Please continue with me in prayer for miracles to abound for he and his family.
First, Ami is stable. For Ami to be alive is a great miracle. Just a while ago I talked to Yoav, who is at the Ortiz apartment. He told me it is impossible to look at this apartment and believe someone could be alive. The top and bottom floor windows are broken out. There is shrapnel all over the walls. He just pulled a two inch by one inch piece of metal out of the refrigerator. Every piece of furniture destroyed. Like our apartment, their apartment is on the 3rd floor. (Operation Outreach is sending finances to help the Ortiz family) The windows on a car parked below were blown out from the blast. I tell you all of this to tell you that Ami was holding the bomb when it exploded. He is alive!
I also just got off the phone with David, Ami's father, and it is amazing what God is doing. David could barely talk without crying just sharing with me what has happened so far. The doctor, a specialist in this kind of trauma who has seen several terrorist bombing victims, told David that a miracle has happened. He has never seen this kind of recovery!
As I share what he said please make note of the continuing prayer points.
Starting at the head: He left eye is okay. They pulled a large piece of metal out of his right eye and there is still a lot of pressure on that eye. We need a miracle for his right eye. The doctor believes there is a chance now to save it. There is no brain damage! Remember he was holding the bomb! Hallelujah! David said the swelling in his face has also gone down considerably.
Neck: There are large and deep cuts to the neck, but no damage to the main arteries - a miracle.
Chest: One lung was severely damaged and they are in the process of trying to save it. We need another miracle here. The doctor believes there is a chance. No damage to the heart or vessels. Praise God!
Stomach: Most of his internal organs were severely injured from the blast. Reconstruction of the intestines and kidneys was done last night. Today he is able to urinate - a miracle sign that his organs are beginning to work again. He also has 2nd and 3rd degree burns over most of the front of his body.
Legs: The muscle in one of his thighs is completely exposed and terribly lacerated. The doctor believes there is a chance it could be saved. Some news reports are saying that they have amputated the leg, but that has not happened. We are believing for a miracle here to save his leg. He has lost some of his toes. I don't know how many.
David and Leah have been at the hospital now without sleep going into the second day. Pray for them.
Israel has faced it's share of terrorism in the Jewish community, but never has it faced anything like this .......something solely directed at Messianic Jewish believers. How will God use this? How will He use us and not just our family, but you as well? We must stand with the Body when it suffers. Look at your newspaper and national news .......the world and Israel is watching.

Thank You for sparing Ami's life. In Jesus Christ's name we ask that You heal him totally and cause this incident somehow to work out for something very good. Thank You. Amen.

Father God, praying for a mighty miracle in this situation. That this young boy's body and life be healed and that his body function the way You designed it to work. Oh Lord, the weight of this situation on my shoulders seems more than I can bare. Please, please heal and restoreth all. May Your guardian angels encamp all around Ami during this most difficult time and throughout his life. In Jesus holy and precious name amen

I found this site doing a google search for Christian sites discussing the attempted murder of the Ortiz family in Ariel which severely wounded their youngest son, 15-year old Amiel. It has been discouraging that so few in the U.S. are aware of this, so I was really happy to see the various ones here who are praying over this matter.
I do a weekly summary of prayer requests from the Israeli indigenous ministries (for the past seven years) and have a web site that is devoted exclusively to the Body of Messiah in Israel. There are about 10-15,000 of them.
The bombing of this teenager is something that affects all of them because it is a horrible escalation of persecution leveled at them. The elected representatives of the Messianic Jewish believers of Israel (MAC) has issued an appeal to the Church worldwide to contact representatives of the Israeli government asking for justice to be pursued fervently in the attempted murder of Ami Ortiz.
It may take outcry from the Church to goad the Israelis to arrest and justly try the perpetrators of this crime against our brothers and sisters.
If we don't show we care about them, it could well just be swept under the carpet as so many acts of persecution against them in the past have been.
If you would like to support the brothers and sisters of Israel, please see the MAC Report on my website at www.israelprayer.com There is a sample letter there you can use, to strike the right tone of love and respect, yet strong support for the persecuted believers of Israel.

Father, we pray for Ami and his family. We ask that you would continue the miracle that you have begun in this powerful young man. Pour courage and strength and great faith into him and his family during this difficult time, and comfort them in very real and present ways spiritually and physically. As a mom, I cannot imagine what they must be feeling. Intervene Father, we ask, your people are agreeing in the name of your son, Jesus. We give you great praise Lord.

Every artery, blood vessel, every tissue of this lung be healed in the name of Jesus. Breathing be restored, oxygen levels be perfect, pain be gone, as the breath of God breathes into this lung, by his word and thru the power of the Blood of Jesus, be completely restored and strong.

Encourage him and empower him. In the name of Jesus. Intestines and kidneys respond to the treatment God has provided in the name of Jesus. Doctors be blessed and guided by the Spirit of God to discern and to operate with skill and to give God glory for the miraculous that he is performing thru medicine and beyond medicine. Every organ, every hair, every pore and patch of skin, be healed and restored in the name of Jesus. Praise to our God for the miracles that he is performing even now!

We speak to Ami's body to be healed and in balance and perfectly whole in every way.
In the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Father, we pray for this family. We cannot imagine what this has been like for them. We ask that you would comfort them as only you can. Refresh their bodies, minds and spirits. Help them to persevere thru the duration of Ami's recovery, finding joy and peace of mind that comes from you Father, supernaturally, beyond our understanding. Surround them with family and friends that will speak your words to them, that will help with decisions and offer wise counsel, that will bring encouragement and comfort daily to every member of their family. In the name of Jesus. And perhaps one of the greatest miracles we ask is that you protect them from all bitterness and unforgiveness toward those who did this horrid thing. We cannot even imagine how forgiveness is possible in this Lord. It will take your mercy and anointing and intervention. Please help. Please bring those who have committed this evil thing to a place of repentance so that they will completely turn away from such evil and hatred toward your people Father.
Restore all to Ami's family that the enemy has robbed them of, multiply the blessing back to them, destroy every plan and plot to bring this family further harm, put your hedge of protection around them now and forever, in every way. In the name of Jesus.

Father, be with Ami and his family today. Thank you for the many miracles and wonderful healing that you have already blessed them with. We ask that you would continue to meet their every need, that you would continue to heal and knit Ami's body back together to perfection, and that you would let them feel your arms around them and your presence so very near to them. You are preparing a powerful testimony that will lead the lost to salvation, and we pray your hedge of protection around everyone involved. Father, thank you for the miracle that you have provided by sparing Ami's life. We rejoice with his family and friends that he remains with them. We accept your perfect plan and will Father, for we know that your wisdom is so far beyond us. But we also know that your word tells us to make our requests known to you. Your word tells us to ask for healing and the lame will rise up and walk. Your word says to ask all in the name of the son, Jesus. And so we ask for complete healing and wholeness for Ami Ortiz in the name of Jesus.
Relieve the itching of the many scabs that have formed over his body. Cause him to rest and to sleep effortlessly and to wake up refreshed each day. Heal every muscle and tissue and nerve so that he can walk and function as though this attack of Satan had never occurred. In the name of Jesus. We agree together for the health of Ami. We agree together in prayer to our God. We ask you Father to look upon this young Jewish boy and his family and to have compassion for their heartache for you are the God of Compassion. You have taught it to us your children. It is not something that is of ourselves, it is a reflection of you.
Heal Ami Father, quickly and completely.
We ask in the name of Jesus.
