Jesus said man must live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. You can't have faith in someone if you don't believe what they say. Faith requires an action or behavior that reflects what is claimed. John the Baptist told the Pharisees to bring forth fruit meet for repentance. Their actions were not reflecting what they were claiming. John called a duck a duck. I heard a preacher once say we better possess what we profess. So if you know people whose lifestyles are not reflecting the salvation of God, ask them how they can claim Christ as their savior when they don't believe what he teaches. If they truly desired to be saved, then they'll receive the truth. If, however, they only want to claim they're saved and believe only that which soothes their conscience, as Paul said, deliver them over to satan. Bub,
