Congratulations, Gary, on your JayHawks making it to the final 4. That was quite a game to watch. I am still not sure why Curry did not go ahead and force up the final shot. With the crowd around him he could have easily been fouled and won the game at the free throw line. Kansas did a much better job of containing him than Wisconsin did, plus he did not shoot quite as well against Kansas. It will not get any easier for KU having to play the Tarheels first in the final round.

No, I ended up sleeping in. I was exhausted from yesterday's rehearsal (about 10 hours long!). Next week we'll be singing, so i'll just have to try the following week.

Gotta love Jayhawk fans...lol. One of my friends is from KC, so i'm sure she is really excited right now. Her best friend is a Tarheel fan though...lol. Gonna be interesting for a while...lol

The Kansas - North Carolina basketball connection goes back at least 50 years. The great North Carolina coach, Dean Smith, was from Topeka and went to Kansas. Smith recomended Roy Williams to KU after Larry Brown left. So it is a very involved connection.
Christi, I like the looks of the new Washington ball park, from what the TV has shown.

It was the tightest game of the whole Elite 8. Now we get to face Roy and NC. The emotions are going to be running high on both sides this week. A lot of Kansas fans will be wanting to beat Roy becuase he left Kansas for NC.
