I'm glad some of you all want to do this! Here is what we you need to do:

Make a video of yourself introducing your first name, your username on the forums, when you joined, approximately how many posts you have, and just a word of hello to your friends here in the Southern Gospel folder. This way, we may get to see you and hear your voice. (Some of us haven't got to meet as many of you as others have!) Then send it to L5MAN who is setting this up for us.

As far as how long of an introduction I can't tell you; we will let L5MAN give us a limit.

These "Intros" will be on a password-protected site, so only those who are given permission may view them. That way you may feel safe and secure.

You can do this at any time, just let L5MAN know. He will tell us when the site is up and ready!

OK folks, here we go!

The page is ready! You may click here. Or you may go to KaunitzCentral.com and click the link on the left side of the page that says, "SN Friends".
You will be asked for a password. I choose the password and everyone will have the same password. Every few months I will change the password, but I will tell you one week in advance before I do.
To receive the password, send me a PM. I will answer ASAP.
When a new video is posted, I will make a post in this thread.

A few simple rules...
Don't worry...I'll keep it simple. It won't be as complicated as the Fan of the Month poll. [:D] (Sorry Tina, but my fingers made me write that! [;)])

1. Length of the video does not matter...I don't care how long the video is. However, size DOES matter, only because it will take longer for me to post.
2. While this is designed to allow us to "meet" each other without traveling great distances, I will not limit this to just introductions. If you have a video that you think your SN Friends would enjoy, then by all means, share it. There will be SOME limitations...
-----a. Must be relative to SG music (a video of you singing, of another artist (only with permission), of you at a SG function, ect)
-----b. Only really, really cute videos of something your kids have done. [:D]
3. Include via PM information about the video, such as, your first name (optional), your SN Forums user name, and a very short description of the video.
4. NO pornography or distasteful content. (I know that this won't be a problem, but I needed to say it to cover my own rear end)

How to submit a video...

1. If you have a video that is on YouTube.com or video.google.com, you can simply send me the link via PM or e-mail (l5man@yahoo.com).

2. If you have a video that is in a digital format (.mwv, .avi, .mov, .mpg, .vob, ect) you may try to use YouSendIt.com (click here)
-----It is easy to use...
------ Enter MY e-mail address (l5man@yahoo.com)
------ Enter YOUR e-mail address
------ Select your file (100MB max)
------ Click green "Send It" button
-----*NOTE - If you have dial-up internet service, you may want to mail it to me via snail-mail (USPS). PM me for my mailing address.

3. If your video is on another form of media, (DVD, CD, miniDV, or VHS) you may send it to me via USPS. (PM me for my mailing address.)
-----*NOTE - This option will be the longest process. Please be patient. Your disk or tape will NOT be sent back to you unless prearranged.

Personally, Tina, it would have been better if you'd have kept the camera rolling and let me redeem myself. I'll have to think about that one. I'm not sure it's worth humiliating myself over. It's one thing for me to tell people I'm gadget-illiterate; it's another thing to prove it! [&:]

Tina, may I say again what a great idea this was? I'm so glad you brought your camera as it's hard to know when I would have gotten around to getting a video of myself recorded.

Also, to Tina, Donna, and James, THANK YOU for your kind words. I feel like I've got my own personal fan club but, if I were going to have a fan club, I couldn't have asked for some sweeter people in it. Y'all are a tremendous blessing and encouragement!
