Catalpa -> RE: Do you use a bible cover? (3/31/2008 12:55:04 PM)

I have a black faux-leather Bible cover that has additional zipper pockets front and back - I like it because I don't carry a purse, but my skirts don't have pockets, so I can put my cell phone, wallet, and lip balm in the Bible case. (And the pair of reading glasses I had to start using! [8|][&:] ) The extra back pocket holds the bulletins and study notes. I have a pretty embroidered cover that I'd rather use; but then I'd be losing stuff all over again. I write and underline all over in my Bible - I follow along during the sermon and scribble notes alongside the verses when Pastor makes a good point, or explains something. He's really great at going back to the original greek, (or hebrew or whatever) and showing what the orignal meaning and emhpasis was. Makes some murky passages come very clear for me. I'm blessed to have a wonderful teacher. Cat
