I have one- I keep pens and such inside with my bible, and there's a pocket on the outside for a journal as well.

I have a black faux-leather Bible cover that has additional zipper pockets front and back - I like it because I don't carry a purse, but my skirts don't have pockets, so I can put my cell phone, wallet, and lip balm in the Bible case. (And the pair of reading glasses I had to start using! [8|][&:] ) The extra back pocket holds the bulletins and study notes.

I have a pretty embroidered cover that I'd rather use; but then I'd be losing stuff all over again.

I write and underline all over in my Bible - I follow along during the sermon and scribble notes alongside the verses when Pastor makes a good point, or explains something. He's really great at going back to the original greek, (or hebrew or whatever) and showing what the orignal meaning and emhpasis was. Makes some murky passages come very clear for me. I'm blessed to have a wonderful teacher.

Many moons ago, when I had a thick, cardboard covered Ryrie study Bible I did.

My last 3 Bibles have been ultra-thin reference NAS leather covered with my name on it, so no, I didn't have a Bible cover for any of those. Bible covers don't go on that kind of Bible very well

I used a bible cover when I was younger (middle/highschool) but now I have a compact bible that I bring to church w. me. I was having trouble keeping all my sermon notes together, so I got THIS little notebook which I LOVE! I write all my sermon notes in it, alone with personal note during my own reading time. I also love this notebook because it's paper is colorful and perfect for if I need to drop a quick note into someone's church mailbox.

That's pretty! I have the same issues with my compact bible...I would use the bulletin, but I always ended up throwing it away...so I went back to a cover and little notebook that fits in the outside pocket. [;)]

I don't but I've been thinking I should get one...I've looked at them several times in the bookstore...but I usually end up finding so many other things I want in there that I don't end up spending the money on a cover.[sm=dollars.gif]

I got a really cute one from eBay for $1. + (I think) $3. s/h.

It's got Bob the Tomato from VeggieTales on it and it's..... you guessed it..... denim! [:D]
