Someone finally wrote a book about Lisa. What we've all somehow always known is now documented!

Perfect!

For once, I don't have a comeback to you.

Kind of hard to argue against the truth isn't it?

Well, everyone's always told me I should write a book - this way I just didn't have to do all the work.

I could make a crack about this being an historic occasion, but I haven't been around here long enough to really say.

I've seen Shema post. I'm sure she can come up with 250 words.

I'm actually pretty quiet in person. Lisa's heard me on the phone. You can ask her.

I have no doubt. She is a lady of letters.

HERE'S my all time favorite scene from Fawlty Towers. Classic!

More alliteration! :) Are you writing your paper about Fawlty Towers?

Not too bad, Shema.
Do you have 250 words I can borrow?

How are you?

Pages 35-48 of Webster's Dictionary? I don't think you'd want my words right now. I'm muched out after the weekend.

I'm great. Just got home from a meeting at church, eating some blackberries, about to write some thank you cards.

Do you have writer's block?

Yep, I'm totally stuck. I think I will just bring it as is and hopefully get some ideas through the peer counseling. This is only the rough draft. I also have to prepare an oral presentation about a play.

I will check out those dictionary words. They just might fit.

They would work well if you were writing about Jabberwocky!

BTW. for one last time.

Happy Atheist's Day

Is this real?

Of course it is. Would I lie to you?

I thought it might be an April Fool's joke.

I told my students this morning that it was the last day of school. After about a ten second pause, one student finally started laughing!

No, if I were to April fool's people it would be more complex than that.

Today, April first, April fool's day, is also National Atheist's day.

Ps 14:1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

It's supposed to be a summary of the plot, followed by an analysis of two aspects of the play. I picked Setting and Character. The play is "A Doll's House." It was kind of a weird play.

It's also considered one of the first feminist plays. Maybe that's why it's weird.

Yep, and everyone had Norwegian names. The lady forged loan papers and was blackmailed by a banker who knew about it. The husband didn't offer to fall on the sword for her like she thought, so she left him.

I hate giving presentations! I better get used to it though. There are only 15 in the class, so it shouldn't be too nerve-wracking.

Did you manage to finish and submit your writing stuff?

I find that very difficult to believe! Oops! Just saw the hidden text.

Lisa's going to help me find reasonably priced tickets. I'm a terrible shopper!

15 people or that you have to give 15 presentations?

I uploaded five assignments Sunday night. I scrambled at the last minute to revise that frustrating paper because I realized that I didn't write it properly. What I wrote was really good, but I had to tweak it to include personal reflection. I've been doing that all semester (and throughout the program). There's only so many times that you can write the same thing about education.

Too bad it's not a Shakespeare tragedy. Those are pretty easy to sum up:

"Everybody dies. The end."
