I also love that my husband is so considerate of me and my workload around the house. He was pretty messy when he was a bachelor (I was kind of worried about that!), but as soon as we married he turned into a completely different person in this area. He is very neat now and always puts his clothing in the hamper and his shoes in the closet at night. I asked him once about this unexpected transformation, and he said he changed because he didn't want to create more work for me by being messy. Aww! It's been nearly 2 years now and he's still doing it.

I love how my husband goes out of his way to take care of things he knows will stress me out.

I love that dh is sensitive- more so than I am, and encourages me to have a softer heart.

I love so much about John that it's hard to single things out. His humor is splendid, and he's really set a good tone in our home. He's humble enough to laugh at himself, which is awesome! I tell my single girlfriends to hold out for a man like him!

Something my hubby does/did that I didnt think much about until someone in another thread commented on it was this. His ex called him the other day, and he looked on his phone and saw it was her (her number was still in his cell phone because he never takes anyone out) and he didnt answer. Not because he wasnt going to talk to her (because they broke up on good terms) but he waited until he got home, told me she called, and asked if I minded if he returned her call (he said she sounded depressed and they used to be good friends). I fully trusted him to call her, it was no big deal to me) but I appreciated the fact that he made a specific point to tell me and let me know that he'd be calling her back (if it was okay with it that is). He also did the same thing with another ex (again broke up on good terms) who asked him to come fix her computer (thats his job). He told her he'd have to ask me first. THen called and asked me if it'd be okay, then offered to come get me and let me go with him (I told him it wasnt neccessary, was impractical for him to come home and go back). He also made a point to answer the phone when I called while he was there (he usually ignores my calls while he is working). He's never given me any reason not to trust him, and I would have trusted him in both these instances even if he wouldnt have asked for my "permission" and he knows that, I just appreciated the fact that he made a point and an effort to make sure he was completely honest with me.

Erin, that was so considerate of Klay! I appreciate that my husband almost always apologizes first whenever we have a disagreement. Our arguments, few and far between anyway, are always pretty short because of the way he responds. It defuses the whole situation immediately - how can I stay upset with him when he's already sincerely apologized? He is not defensive at all and always owns up to his part in the misunderstanding and asks what he can do to make things right. I aspire to be more like him in this area.

I love how patient he is with me. I know I can be exasperating at times but his love for me is consistent and not based on how I am acting at any given time.

My husband put a pond and garden in our backyard. I just love it! In the Summer we spend most of our evenings after work back there. It is just beautiful! I like watching him work back there too. It makes him very happy when he is working on it and the effects of digging in the dirt are long lasting. I tease him about talking about it sooo much but he is very cute when he is in plotting mode about what he will plant next year or what he could do with that corner etc. When we lay in bed at night we can hear the water trickling down the waterfall and it is just so peaceful. So I guess I would say that I love that he has a hobby that makes him happy and that he is so skilled at creating beauty.

My lovely husband sat by my side Friday afternoon and prayed for me and our child as she was born at 3:15 pm. His prayers gave me strength.

I love that after chatting with his brother about ideas he has had, he talks to me as well. We talked about finances and goals last night. It was a pleasant conversation.
