We have been praying for Miley and her family. I hope this teaches the whole family a lesson.
I don't let my kids put teen stars on a pedistal. They are taught that those kids are just like them. I do allow them to purchase their music, as I'd rather that then the alternative. My middle child loves listening to the Jonas Brothers, and quite frankly...I do too.
The JB's were on the season finale of American Idol. We think we spotted their dad in the band with them. Now...that's one way of keeping your kids honest and in sight![:D]
We saw the first installment of Disney following them around on tour. You got to see inside the house and all. It was not a mansion...a normal house, dirty dishes, clothes and toys on the floor, the boys sharing a bedroom, etc. Looked like a normal home...so looks like the parents are trying to keep the kids down to earth. They even had to do chores before leaving on the private jet!
I remember that about the Tamara kids. They said they'd get off set from filming "Sister Sister" go home and be told to take the trash out! That's what I'd do if my kids ended up famous. I'd keep their feet on the ground and give them a reality check daily! God and family first...always.
