Ummm...i've been to one but I didn't participate. Feet are icky. At one of my churches they used the hands instead. [:D]

I think that's what makes it all the neat. It's a stepping out of your comfort zone.

I'm not nervous about it per se because I truly believe this is what God wants him to do...I'm just nervous because I've never participated or witnessed one so I'm fairly clueless.

God will take care of it I'm sure. [;)]

I wouldn't stress over it. It takes you out of your comfort zone, but that's a good thing.

I remembered when I did it I didn't mind doing the washing at all, but I didn't want to bother someone else to wash my own feet. It's the whole serving vs. being served... Why let yourself be served if you're fully capable of doing it yourself? Because then it takes the whole joy out of serving for someone else....

I'm reading the Twilight series. Edward reminds me of my exboyfriend. Very controlled, very even...very mellow. He never showed extreme emotion unless completely pushed. That's how Edward is in the book. Now that I know this, I can read without wanting someone like Edward...especially the whole vampire thing. [:D][:D][:D]

It's VERY good. There's a sale from BAM for members to buy it for like $48 or something like that. Real decent price.

Yes it was very humbling. I think it's something I will never forget.
