Beautiful, thank you! Half & Half, if you please. I should have asked for decaf at this time of night but, what's the point in decaf at all? Perhaps in Andalasia coffee doesn't keep people awake?

LOL!! That wouldn't work. Have you seen the movie? The prince sees a television for a first time and calls it the "magic mirror"

The story of my life!!!! *giggle*

This princess is turning in. Unfortunately an ex-boyfriend decided to grace me with his presense and didn't help my headache much.

Sleep well everyone and I'll see you bright and early in the morning with fresh cookies and coffee! *dances off*

Good morning everyone! *dances*

For this morning we have fresh cinnamon scones, strawberry tarts, and hot cinnamon rolls with melted sugar drizzled on them. Yum! I also have freshly made coffee, hot chocolate, and mango smoothies. *grin*

Now onto why I have so many sweets. Ugh. I had dated a guy a while back who had great intentions but was never on the same page as me. Our relationship didn't end as much as it just...fell apart. Even in groups of mutual friends we couldn't stop snipping at each other. It got to the point where a couple of friends just locked us in a room and wouldn't let us out until we resolved our issues. Wasn't pretty. *shudders*

He's seeing someone new right now and one thing I always here is, "Yeah when I do this, it really seems to help the relationship." and I'm like, "Didn't I say the same thing to you when we were dating and you brushed me off?" It's very frustrating.

Last night we had a few issues and after I got off the computer and ready for bed he called and we talked for a few hours. It was mind numbing and we didn't accomplish what we had set out to do; except we did prove that no matter what happens we'll always be friends.

Some of you may ask if he bothers me so much, then why do I still talk to him? Well, he was my friend before we ever allowed our relationship to grow into something different. I always say he probably knows more about me than anyone else and as much as we argue and fuss at each other, we always have the other's back. I know that when the chips are down I can call him and he'll do whatever he can to help me.

Mind you I wouldn't ever get back together with him, even if he wasn't seeing someone. We're passed that road and are moving to new pastures. As my fellow divorcee's on First Wives Club say, "Time to move on and move up." So I am.

God is really moving in my life right now and I can't help but wait with anticipation that something big is in the works. Through Him, my relationship with Him is stronger, clearer, and more abundant. He's molding and shaping me like I've never been shaped before (or as I've said before, like I've never let him before) and it's the scariest thing in the world, but the most exhilerating.

I'll take a warm cinnamon roll and mm.....hot chocolate!

Maybe perhaps God used this relationship for you to teach him a few things that he could only learn from you, in order to grow him for future relationships?...just a "therapist" thought ...as any therapist, I could be off. Well, I'm a little off anyway, but that has nothing to do with my therapy attempts!! lol

That's very possible O'Wise and Fun Tina. *grin* Even though we weren't meant to be together there's no reason why I can't help him learn to be a better man. I do enjoy being quite bossy. *giggle*

Wonderful combination you have! I hope you enjoy! I'm trying to deicde what type of cookies to make for snacks. I grow bored of my regular selecton.

At least that's what I keep saying about Stupid Boy--- that I helped him to learn to be a better man! LOL

(For the record, he has not contacted me since the infamous dinner...almost 2 weeks ago. I think he knows he goofed).

True, but I sent the second one. (The less "teaching one....lol).

However, he did call me the next week before the dinner and I was unintentionally short with him. I just had nothing to say and he was just calling to jab. I didn't mean to be rude, but I probably came across that way.

All the fun of talking has lost it's appeal, right Tina? Luckily it's not that way with me and...(what's a good name for him?) DorkBoy. I'll never bore of his discussions and since he went through a lot of things the Things are going through now, I appreciate his wisdom and advice on how to handle certain situations. It's a win win for both of us, we just need to learn to put our "behinds in the past"! *giggle*

Okay saw something interesting today.

I work in an area where I see a lot of people, especially older folks. (Can you believe I see older people in Florida????

I was on my way to get coffee this morning, (Skinny Caramel Macchiato!) when I got behind a little couple shuffling down the hall. I usually get impatient and wait for an opportunity to dart around them, but since I was taking a well deserved break (IMO) and wasn't it too much of a hurry I just sauntered along behind them. They were holding hands and just shuffling as slowly as their hearts were content. What I noticed was how they talked. "Quit pulling on me, Fran. What's your hurry?" "No hurry Herb. Just trying to keep you going." "I am going; we're not in a race." "I know that. Just hold my hand and keep walking." It was so cute!

I'm watching them witsfully as I make my way to the coffee shop and even now I can't get them out of my mind. It was obvious they still loved each other, but what I found sweet was they were still picking at each other. *sigh* I do hope when I meet my life mate that we're the same way in 50 or 60 years and never tire of making each other smile (or groan) in appreciation.

Awwwwww!! That was so cute! I love to watch older people in love. We have several in my church, and they still look at each other with those loving eyes. Just melts my heart! Then you've got the old grouches... just makes those cute couples even cuter!

LOLOL! The old grouches can be cute too! Kind of reminds me of Ouza on "Steel Magnolias" She was a grouch with a great heart.
