Jonathon Wilburn is as fine a Christian man as there is out there. And no he would not do any of those things mentioned. I don't think discmaker said he had. Only that there would probably be people that would make that assumption. Lets face it folks Southern Gospel has its share of gossipers. And discmaker could be right. Someone could, and very well may, start something like that. Its up to us to head it off.

I am certain that no one on *this* board is wanting to hear anything bad about Mr. Wilburn--that would be not only unkind, but also a violation of the folder rules. Please get the thread back on track.

The only thing I want to know about Jonathon is that he is happy and doing well. I would personally love to see him back in SG, but that is up to Jonathon and God.

It sounds like to me that he is just plain burnt out of travel on the road. I was burnt out just after one ten day choir tour in college. I couldn't do it for thirty years. I don't blame him. I'm glad he is able to be home with his family.

Does anyone know if Jonathan plans to move his family back to Tennessee to be closer to his parents? Just curious....

I wondered if he would move back or not, but I haven't heard anything.

Since he has taken a job in Alabama I'd say that's where he intends to stay at the moment. Remember he has school to think of and also this isn't the best time to be trying to sell a house.
