I don't know if you all will remember my posts about my teenage cousin. She had a tumor on her brain and they had to do surgery twice...this was in July '07, and she is doing better now...has to have lots of meds, and the repercussions of those are hard on her, but the tests have shown no more tumor, no cancer, no nothing...so praise the Lord for her healing... Now, her family has another trial to deal with... Her mother has breast cancer. She has just found out. They think that because it is mobile that they can get it all taken care of with chemotherapy, but they are also worried about her lymph nodes because it is close to them....high up, I guess. She is only 40 years old...so she hadn't started regular mammograms or anything yet...she found it on her own. Please pray for her...and for the family. We have all been through so much with the teenager and her problems...so we are all still "fried" from that. So, please pray for strength!!!

Our Heavenly Father,
We ask that You give strength and courage to this entire family.
We ask that you give wisdom, peace and understanding to all.
We ask that You lead each member in Your path and Your will Father.

Here is the message that I got from my 16 year old cousin about her mother...

hey everyone.

mama had to go to the doctor today. we found out that not only is the cancer in her breast, it's also in her lymph nodes under her arm, which means it might've went all over her body. she goes for a PET scan friday to see if it's anywhere else.

please continue to pray for our family throughout this struggle. ask your families to pray for us, your church families, etc. it's greatly appreciated. because there's really power in prayer. if there wasn't, i wouldn't have been healed like i was. so, anyway, don't forget my mama in your prayers.

father thank you for answered prayer for this cousin and now i come before you with her mother put your healing hands on her and heal her from this breast cancer let her have minimal side affects from this cchemo treatments as she get them give her good strength and good health to beat this cancer in jesus name amen
