Keabird -> Dad's wife and sister (4/15/2008 3:35:46 AM)

Hi there

Two different people - Dad's wife Betty, and his sister, my Aunty Sylvia.

Aunty Sylvia has got cancer of the bowel, and is very, very sick, in hospital and its possibly terminal. She does not know the Lord. Please pray for her salvation and healing in the Lord!

Please pray for Betty also. Within a week or two of her and Dad marrying, she had to have a small operation to remove some kind of growth, and now she is scheduled for another operation. I know Dad is terribly worried about this. My mother died of cancer at age 56, then his next girlfriend died of almost the same cancer within a few years, and now his brand new wife is having issues as well. He couldn't say anything to me on the phone, because she was right beside him, but I know him well, and I could tell he is very very upset and worried about it. Betty knows the Lord. Dad is still only very new in the Christian faith, as shared previously.

Father God, we lift these three to You. Father, please pour out Your mercy on Aunty Sylvia - help her find salvation! We ask You to heal her body also Lord. Help her to know You are the One who heals.

We pray for Betty too, that these growths would be removed without further complications and that she would NOT have cancer. Please give Dad peace in all of this. Please help him to know what it really is to trust in You for the lives of his loved ones. Draw near them all, dear Lord Jesus.

I ask in Your Name
amen

You need to go to the hospital or call and make sure she knows Jesus!

Lord, I pray for these people that "Keabird" has mentioned. God, I pray Your healing hand be on them. God let Your Will be done in their lives.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen.

Our Precious Heavenly Father,
We ask that You touch and heal both of these women, Betty & Sylvia.
We ask that You wrap each one in Your loving arms and give them peace, wisdom and understanding.
We as that You give salvation and the wanting to "follow You" to Sylvia and let her see just how glorious it is to serve only You Father God.
We ask that You give healing to Betty and touch her life Father God so that she too knows how glorious you are.
We also ask Father God that You be with the entire family for both women and let them see
your joy and peace as only You can give Father God.
We ask Father God that You show how easy it is to put our FULL trust in You.
We ask this in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

Biblefreak and others, thanks for praying.

Biblefreak, much as I would love to visit, I am at the other end of the country. However, she does have family with her that know the Lord. Actually I haven't seen her for years, myself, just heard the news through other family members that live nearer. Some of them know the Lord well, so I pray the Lord will give them time and opportunity to share with my aunty, if they haven't already - they may well have already talked to her about the Lord.

Please continue to pray.
