Well here in Canada there has been fine weather; we even fired up the barbecue!

But there is still some snow in piles in parking lots.

I hear you. I hear you. It sure has been a long winter, and those warm days feel glorious! We're building a patio this year and putting in a firepit, so I'll be grilling along with you before long.

What do you put over the fire?

It's with an enclosing lid on a charcoal burner.

My wife tells me they had a heavy fall of snow in Calgary this weekend.

2 or 3 days ago someone said that she had seen snow on the ground still in Toronto, ON.

We had one measurable snowfall all winter, and that was washed away less than 24 hours later. I mowed the lawn for the first time this year on Saturday.

There is still snow in the Colordo Rockies and we keep getting more. Saturday night at Prom, three of our boys brought their skis and hiked halfway up the slope and skied down in their suits and tuxes. It was quite a site to see. That for me was the highlight of the night.
