Ah, well then you are forgiven.

Hey armydude, is there anyone agriculturally-minded on your thread?

I'm going to get corn tomorrow afternoon and the deal is already struck but I just wanted to know how I did.

I'm going to get five dozen ears from the corn farmer for two bucks each dozen.

That sounds disturbingly like what we called a "word problem" in math....

$10!

So how are the ears of corn? Any good?

I KNOW you've cooked at least one... right?

Dude there are _sixty_ ears of corn in my refrigerator waiting to be shucked, silk pulled off, any corn worms removed by cutting those ends off and finally put in ziploc food storage bags and in the freezer.

I couldn't deal with it tonite.

Yeah, every time I hear "farm fresh" I wonder why people don't know a few bugs are on those veggies on the farm. That's why my slogan is "So Farm Fresh it has still got the bugs on it!"

By the way we need to change the title to Farmer Dude's Place of Agricultural Plowing or something like that.

Thanks on the title change suggestion, but I think I'll keep this title.

And sixty... that's a lot of corn...

In a week or two the Amish/Mennonite folks about 30 miles north in Tennessee will have ripe tomatoes. I'll be heading to Ethridge.

Corn Worm and there are different varieties depending on the region.

The corn worms we have down here are a little smaller and greener than this one.

The only thing worse than finding a corn worm on a good ear of boiled corn is finding half of a corn worm on that ear of corn.
