Tell me about it! Good grief! The bummer around here is that not many places have bike racks, so it's hard to ride your bike for errands around town. Our community is extremely spread out so, walking would take hours. Our bus system stinks. And we don't have any other kind of mass transit.

Kind of limits your "gas-free" options...

Here our bus system is great ( at one time i was the best in the Nation) But it stinks for bikers due to lack of bike paths. And walkers due to bad traffic laws.

Our bus system is really great. Tourists and residents take it almost anywhere they need to go.

I take it anywhere I need to go.

I did enjoy riding on The Bus when we were there.

On nice days my brother and I would ride it to Waikiki and hang out there for the day or go to the mall. Pearl Ridge I believe it was. *sigh* Those were the days.

And do you know the funny part about it? Is I was 10 and 11 when we would do those things. Do you think I would even THINK of letting my kids do something like that? Ummm...NO. Nor would my brother. Even though he was 16 and 17 still...I wouldn't even think about it.

Either our parents were real naiive or things have changed in the last 20 years or so.

I am just feeling a little befuddled. I cannot find two items in my study. One which I know should be somewhere, the other could be here or at church.
