What you need now is a sputnik style light fixture.

I think you're mixing decorating styles (and even decades?), but hey, it works for me!

Nobody is home, so UF carries in the sputnik light fixture. He goes back and get the stepladder and tool bag. After a few minutes the light is installed.

Pam I thought we were going for a 60's style here with the lava lamps and all.

Wonderful addition, UF!

Can you think of anything else we're missing, since James gave us free decorating license?

Remember, we still gotta sneak around - that's where the adventure comes in to play!

Maybe we should get some nice frames to display our decorating licenses.

Wonderful idea! What type of frames do you think we should use? Should we all coordinate our frames or express our individualness in our own ways?

I'm probably getting my decades mixed up. I was thinking lava lamps were 70's and sputnik style was 50's.

Well did you all think I would not find this place? Surprise I did. I think it is decorated nicely but you might need to find a few more things.

Ooooh...I like flamingos!

I was in a play once and it was based in a Florida Trailerpark. One of the characters was not what everybody wanted. She put her flamingos in suggestive positions...lol

Being the redneck that I am, the funniest reindeer I ever saw was hung upside down in a tree, and red lights were inserted around the "guts" area and allowed to drape down to the ground, like dressing out a deer... I laughed at that one for ages and still want one of my own...

Sam's laying low for a day or two so it might be a good time to get them over there. I'm sure he'd like all that you can find for him.

Pam You are right.

quote:

A lava lamp is a novelty item typically used for decoration and ambience rather than illumination; the slow albeit chaotic rise and fall of the randomly-shaped blobs of wax is fancifully suggestive of the flow of lava, hence the name. The lamps are available with a wide variety of container styles and colours of wax and liquid. They rose to prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s and are often associated with the hippie movement of that period.

But I think we can combine the 50's and the 60's for a unique look.
