Like I said before, we're not electing a minister or pastor. These are ordinary "proclaimed" Christians running for a public office. It's weird how the candidates seem to be qualified for other public offices such as Senator, Mayor, Governor, etc. But when they try to run for president, we try to judge them by a standard they didn't need to have when they got elected to where they are now. To me, that's insane. That's like ordaining a deacon who may have some issues in life, but when he is up to be Pastor, he's no good. The standards need to be held at all levels. Stop voting in people with questionable morals at the local government level and you won't have to deal with it at the top. The truth is, anybody can run for president. Why aren't there more religious leaders running? The Joel Osteens and T.D. Jakes of the religious community. If they did, I guarantee they would be torn down as well. It's not about the lesser evil. It's about the best person of the three. If they are evil, then we all are. No one is better than the other in God's eyes. We've all done wrong and still have problems with sin. That's not evil, it's the Christian struggle we all endure.
