Speaking of the Broncos, I saw that Jay Cutler has been diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. That might explain some of his apparent lack of development last year.

I couldn't say that. He was a great QB in college. maybe the lack of a team at Denver.

I think he needs prayers for his health.

the lack of a team was joking. just live in Colorado Springs and really really dislike the broncos

Wwwwwait a minute brother. Once a Raider always a Raider . I know they have had a rough go of it since Rich retired but hang in there.
I agree with the earlier post about rookie salary caps. I hope the Raiders get their $$ out of JR and he doesn't end up a bust. Their record with #1 picks hasn't been very good lately.

Actually stopped being a fan since Al "give me a better stadium deal" Davis moved them back to Oakland and how long ago was that? 12 years? Plus all the "F the Rest", Raider nation garbage makes me root AGAINST them. Today, they are a far cry from the team of the 1970's and early 80's.

I can't argue with that. They seem to live in the past too much. And I'm sorry to say I don't think they will ever amount to much until Al is gone. I think the game of today is so much different than it was 20 years ago. But Al is still stuck in the past.
That said, I am still a sucker for the silver and black. Have been for 35 years.

The bad ones always seem to live forever. Since he's 79 you might have to put up with 5-10 years more of his stellar leadership!

So do you think Aaron Rodgers got more phone calls after the Packers took Brohm, then he did when Favre announced his retirement?

I wonder why they decided to put Favre on the cover of Madden 2009 this year?

I can't wait for the season to start. Being a die hard Niners fan this season looks interesting. Plus they are playing the PATS on my birthday.

not sure who Hugh Yankee is but since he don't wear the pinstripe bb uniform I guess can talk to you then

j/k. so what do you think of your teams draft this year?

and for all. did the picks improve the team in your opinion. forget the espn and all the other draft reports. do you as a fan not an analyst, feel the team will improve? even if the picks can be traded for established star/semi-star will they be helpful?

I think the first two for the Steelers will improve the team. the back gives them a power back up the gut and the reciever will be one to build on. Ward is getting old and Burress went traitor to Giants .
Holmes and the new guy will give them a solid group of recievers that are young.

the QB is all around ala Stewart or Randle-El. if they use him right will make a solid addition.

Still wish coulda got a G to replace the best in game today, Faneca

GO STEELERS! Did you ever wonder if they would have advanced further last year if they didn't get greedy and try those two inept 2 point conversions?

BTW, for my birthday this year my brother gave me the Steelers edition Monopoly! Can add it to my other Steelers stuff!

I want that monopoly edition. might order it next month

Don't know how anyone can be a Christian and a Raider fan- those to are mutualy EXCLUSIVE! It is spelled out in the book of 2nd Nfleronomy (think that was dropped early from the the Canon for some odd reason).

Go BRONCOS!!

John Madden has always had a man-crush on Brett Favre. This would be his last chance to put him on the cover. I'm sure he's not normally in on any part of that process, but I bet he demanded it.

Ouch! I knew that was coming eventually. It's all good though. But they have had a reputation for years that is hard to shake. And I think the "Black Hole" fuels the reputation as well.
