Santa,

"they ordered down"

I like the way you put that. I need to do it more often myself.

Is Kathy coming next month for sure? Wow, we're gonna have a big crowd for dinner...I love it!

When Cindy and I were first dating, I casually quoted Dear Abby: "A lady always orders from the middle of the menu." A lot of good that did me.

I've seen the side of the menu Miss Cindy orders from...it ain't the middle. She's too cool! Can't wait to see you all again.

Our name tags should have screen names and real names on them.

I get together with ladies from my local moms message board and when somebody asks me my name, they look puzzled and then I tell them my screen name and they are like .

That is what I was thinking!!!

That ain't cheap.

We always flew out of Nashville, but we've flown out of Knoxville a few times and it can get pricey. Of course now, the drive to Nashville would cost an arm and a leg anyway.

How far of a drive is KC from Ktown??? Of course with the price of gas I think the plane ticket may come out cheaper.

Try KC to Atlanta...Atlanta is only a couple hour drive. I know when we lived in Cleveland, TN we were 90 miles from Atlanta and Cleveland is about 30 minutes or so from PF and Ktown...if my memory serves me right.

My ticket from KC to Indianapolis was only $180, but I bought that about 6 weeks ago.

Let me do a map quest on driving.

Driving is an 800 mile trip one way. That would be a 12 hour trip.

The KC to Knoxville flight goes thru Dallas.

The KC to Atlanta flight is $100 cheaper. But adding a car rental may make that a wash.

I need to pray about this. I would love to meet all you people.

Dear Counselor,

I was wondering, do I have to attend class tomorrow?

Yours truly,
Terri

According to Mapquest...Atlanta to Sevierville is a 4 hour drive...then I remembered the road construction that Dinana and Donna will have to travel around...it may be longer. I thought it would be closer than that.

What is the rough time frame for the weekend?

Saturday is the only thing I know...meeting at 4:30 or earlier at Tony's and then the concert is at 7pm. My family will be arriving on Thursday because we are having a mini-vacation...hubby wants to go fishing. We will be returning home on Sunday. It's a 5 hour or so drive for us.

I just checked the cost of Atlanta to Knoxville flights. The cheapest is over $400, for a non stop flight that is 4 hours by car!!!!!!!!!. That makes no sense at all that KC to Knoxville thru Dallas is cheaper.

Have to agree with you on that. I would suggest bus but you don't need a looping tour of the countryside...it may take you a week to get there!!! Train???? I'm just full of suggestions ain't I??? Missed my calling...travel agent/tour director!

Greensboro is an hour & half from Roanoke and lots of folks will drive down to catch a flight vs. flying out of Roanoke...always much cheaper!

Might check Charlotte but I don't know if Charlotte is out of James' way.
