I finally caught up and read all about the toast....

..........good grief!! Toast?!?!? Maybe an English Muffin.......

I went bowling last night for the first time in........30 years, I think. The guys I went with were just toddlers last time I bowled (that was a little depressing). I ripped off (to the quick) a thumbnail with my first gutterball. After that, I found just the right weight ball and actually ended up bowling a few strikes and DIDN'T have the lowest score after all!! That was quite a shocker to me. But next time, I think I want the bumpers.

Are you sore after bowling? I find that there are muscles that I don't use except to bowl. and they make their presence known after an evening of bowling!!

My avatar is the view from our hotel. We had so much fun watching the boats go by!

Normally, Mr. Cranky is the type to have our vacations scheduled and packed with stuff every moment of every day.

This time I convinced him to take it easy and he let me pick the pace--we did a lot more sitting, but he said he actually enjoyed it more than any other vacation. I'm sure the view helped. We decided the view had something for everyone--water, wildlife, industry (boats), and an engineering structure (bridge).
