The Messiah's Cloak... She could not help but kneel at his feet. The thought of the heavenly court, beholding the great and glorious Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, was beyond anything she could imagine. Isha suddenly felt small and unworthy and wanted to hide. At once colors of purple and red fell around Bride covering her in a soft, thick, rich embrace. “There it is.” The Messiah announced. “The cloak I covered you with the day you became mine.” Isha wrapped the cloak around her with humble gratitude Yeshua spoke. “Yes, I covered you in the coat of my blood and passion. Purple is the color my enemies mocked me with. Yet this is no mockers garment. It is the royal sign that you belong to me, the Son of David. All I have purchased for you through my sacrifice has become yours. I am your holiness, wisdom, righteousness… “You are everything to me.” Bride murmured kissing the cloak and pressing her cheek against it. Bending towards her, Yeshua encircled her with his arms and whispered a blessing: . “Here is my companion, her soul like whitest snow. A garden of virtues where the sweetest flowers grow She is my delight, my rose bloom at my side Fair, none can compare to my beautiful Bride.” His words were dear to her. For a long while she pondered them wanting to store his blessing like a treasure in her heart. Isha looked up through her tears. “My Yeshi…” She stopped her mouth with her hand. Yeshua brightened. “What is it my Shelee?” he asked. “You must know I love when you call me “Yeshi’! That is the special name you called me before you came to live with me here in the New Jerusalem. Can you not feel my pleasure in you heart?” Brides astonishment quickly turned into cheerfulness as her Lord cried out: “Yeshi! Yeshi! Yeshi! Please, say it again Isha and satisfy me!” She spoke the name but once. He grabbed his bosom with a sigh and said, “ah…like a sweet arrow of love right through my heart…” Isha shook her head. “Oh you make me laugh, my Yeshi.” He smiled. “Well, you could not be sad…” She laughed again. “I am not sad.” “There is no sadness in my Kingdom. Not even a speck.” laughed Yeshua. “Only grateful tears,” Isha exclaimed happily. Yeshua held up his hand. “You haven’t finished looking at my cloak.” He said. “Open it up.” Isha unwrapped the cloak and gasped in surprise. There, embroidered in every color, in colors she had known and colors that she was seeing for the first were all the titles and names of her King. “Good Shepherd. “Light of the World, “Prince of Peace” Resurrection and the Life Way, the Truth and the Life…” Bride traced the names with her finger and read some of the titles on the inside of her cloak. Yeshua leaned close. “Beloved…Bridegroom…” He chimed in. A blush stole across her face. “Rose of Sharon…” The Savior lifted her to his side. He had been kneeling with her while she read the names. Once again he tenerderly enclosed her in the purple and red cloak. “My Titles have always been there, Isha, inside the cloak I gave you when you were but a young girl. You wore them close to you heart. Now you can see and touch what you couldn’t see on the other side of the veil.” Her eyes overflowed. She sobbed on her Bridegrooms heart. “You see.” said Yeshua, “You need not feel unworthy for you have the cloak of the King.” Reaching into his bosom he drew forth a golden clasp shaped like a rose. . Yeshua fastened the cloak at her neck with the clasp. He stood away for a moment and surveyed her. Quickly he returned, gathering her in his arms. Brides’ image mirrored in his eyes was beautiful. Yeshua knew she was really seeing herself for the first time, her true image, the holy Bride of Messiah. His breath escaped, scarcely breathed against a lock of her golden hair flowing between his fingers. He, the great God Almighty, the second Person of the Trinity could only whisper her name…the secret name by which he had bound her to himself. To be continued...
