Good morning, John! I was just coming in here to say how quiet it seems to be all over the board this morning. It's raining over in these parts. How's the weather out there?

Yes, Esther, I'm in PA. And I'm pretty much an early-to-bed-early-to-rise person, at least for now.

I'm up at 5am as well, if not earlier - I have lots to do in the morning. Doesn't mean I'm a morning person, though. LOLOL

I just remember the old saying: Early to bed Early to rise And your girl goes out with other guys I'm a night owl who's forced to be a morning person. Have to be up at 6 to get the Girl to school. Perversely I greatly enjoy the early morning hours outside. The pre-dawn stillness before the day really starts. BTW Esther, Pammy didn't get your rain. She got my rain!! I looked outside a moment ago and thought that we were under nuclear attack. It's been so long since I've seen the sun that I fogot what it looked like!

Oh my! What's with the rain everywhere? I haven't seen rain in awhile. Not that I'm complaining....... My dad always taught me that if the sun was up, I should be up also. I currently get up around 4 AM which isn't too bad.

Morning, all! It has been a LONG week for me, and I am ready for the weekend. Maybe I can get some chatting in, since I have been hit-and-miss here during the week.

ORIGINAL: mutinywxgirl I would venture to guess there are several reasons for it being slow - one is that there seems to be a LOT of off-forums corresponding going on. That's okay - that's how relationships are built. The other is that we're all at work and actually have to work today! LOL It's not you, trust me. Wait...people actually do this?????? Whoa...totally rocked my world around. It happens sometimes.

Good morning, Voice! (I never get to say that!) Good morning, everyone! quote:
That reminds me of a book I like to read sometimes called Alas, Babylon. Anybody ever read that one? I read it years and years ago, but I'm don't remember the specifics too well. There's a nuclear holocaust and a man tries to survive afterwards, experiencing the shock of the changes to his world?
