Answer a few simple questions (SS#, Filing Status and # of exemptions) and the IRS will tell you HOW MUCH you'll receive and WHEN it will be in your account. Mine says May 2nd.

If anyone here had to pay, and they have already paid all that they owe, and this site gives them something besides a message saying that they made a mistake and it can't tell them anything yet, I'd like to know that.

Mine said that, and my accountant's said that, too. (Both of us owed).

When I tried that it said I may have made a mistake, but I'm sure I didn't. It's not that complicated to answer those three questions. BTW, I didn't owe extra taxes this year.

Did you get a refund? And if so, did you opt for Direct Deposit or a paper check? It might make a difference.

It is giving the "error" message for people whose SSN is not in this most current group of stimulus payments being DD or mailed, regardless of whether or not you owed anything.

Drat, I guess ours won't show up by tomorrow. I was hoping.

I got the 'you may have made a mistake' message.

BTW, I could have sworn when I looked ours up weeks ago (before they went to an earlier schedule) that we fell into the May 9 date. Now irs.gov shows us as May 16. Did I just read it wrong before?

If you OWE and pay by direct DEBIT, will the money be direct deposited or mailed?

It makes a big difference to some friends of mine ...

If I filed with H&R Block, and I got a paycard account instead of a check, would the rebate go into that account or will I get a check? I still have the account, and I am just notsure how that works. Can someone help me?

As promised, our rebate was in the bank when I got up this morning. They took out $239.00 for a CURRENT medical bill at the VA, but the VA has just billed Blue Cross. Guess I'll get that money back later.

Beck, I'm sure you'll get a paper check. H&R Block gave you a loan and they got your refund via transfer. One of our kids used this type service.

Mine says Tuesday. 3 days ahead of the original schedule

Also says don't call and ask about it til after the 12th.
