I once saw a wedding between games of a semi-pro tournament. The judge that married the couple wore an umpires uniform. The teams playing the next game were drafted to hold their bats in the air making an arch for the couple to work thru. The bride and her attendants wore baseball hats. Teh groom and his attendants wore tux coats and Bermuda shorts. They had a BBQ and party late into the night, but they were at the 8 am game the next morning.


Awesome! I think I may steal that idea.....I should probably find a husband first though

lol ... could be a reality show ... a would-be bride tries to find a groom in X days before the historic landmark is dismantled ...

however the new one is looking awfully nice from the outside though ... i have no idea how the inside is shaping up ... pregame at the stadium, they play a lot of video of how great the new stadium is supposed to be ...

This is one of the cave hotels in Turkey, in the city of Cappadocia. It is just so beautiful, and interesting. During the times when Christians were being persecuted, a lot of them formed an underground world to hide in this area. They lived there for hundreds of years. According to one of the documentaries that I watched, the underground world they created went as far down as 9 meters. Truly amazing. I'd love to visit this place.

Status: offline 		That looks so cool, Prairie Hiker! My dad, when he was still active duty Navy, got to visit the catacombs in Italy (another place christians hid and lived). The tour guide sternly warned the people to stay close with the group. He gave them this warning, because in the past they had had people stray from the group, get lost, and never get found, because it is such a complicated labyrinth. Thankfully, everyone in their group listened, and no one got lost.
