my wedding dress, a maternity dress, and a pretty going out dress that doesn't fit anymore, but hanging on to it for wishful thinking.

1... for wearing on Easter Sunday and to weddings.

I also have 3 skirts. I wear a skirt to church or work about once every 2-3 months.

That I own or that I can wear? That I own, probably 3 or so (not counting formals I no longer wear or my wedding dress). That I can wear...none! I need to find a cute maternity dress or two.

I used to own one little black dress, but I am not little enough any more, so I don't have any!

1, but I'm sure it doesn't fit me now anyway. It was the dress I wore at my parents' 25th anniversary vow renewal, which was 4 years ago.

So really...zero. And I plan to keep it that way.

TONS!!!

My wedding dress
2 fancy dresses (for weddings and such)
3 shirt dresses (for everday wear)
1 little black dress (I love my lbd with a nice shawl and heels!)
1 little red dress (which isn't so appropriate anymore)
My prom dress (I think I can still fit in it)

I love dresses...I planning to go to the store and buy another one for everyday wear soon.

I'm old. Disabled. Two dresses, and I don't wear them. I'm too fat.

4 dresses.

8 skirts.

1 skirt & matching top set.

I don't currently have either one of my wedding dresses.

I love dresses and skirts (not fitted nor suited but flowy and comfortable).

LOL! Sandy and Donna! I thought Donna had become very confused with herself regarding this thread.
(I guess until this thread, I've not seen the photo of y'all's beautiful daughters unless it was next to one of Donna's posts). Sandy, your daughter is very pretty; and Donna, I hope you already know how lovely I think Hannah is.

AND! Donna, for whatever reason, whenever I look at your and Sandy's avatar, I see Little You and Hanah.

Y'all should be proud of your accomplishment.

BTW, I noticed in my post above that I spelled Hannah's name two different ways. Which one is correct?

Hannah. Or if you asked Hannah, she'd say "H. A. I. I. O. Q. L. M. N. O. P."

On topic, my little girl has TONS of dresses, so I'm certainly not opposed to dresses. I'm just opposed to dresses on me. She probably has 2 frilly dresses, 5 church only dresses, and 10 sundresses/play dresses, all of which currently fit her now. Also a couple skirts.

I don't think I have a single "normal" dress right now. I have my wedding dress and a couple of slightly formal cocktail style dresses that I wear very occasionally. Other than that, none.

I do wear skirts often though and probably have 10-12 of them, ranging from dressy to casual. I prefer the single pieces to a one piece dress.

I used to love dresses and not care for skirts. In the past few years, that has changed, and now I generally prefer skirts to dresses.

I think I like them because I like mixing and matching separates. Often, I'll love the cut or the print of the skirt portion of a dress, but think it's overkill for all over.

A couple. I have two really nice vest-dresses that I found brand new at the thrift store. Natrually, I dripped bleach down the front of one of them. I have a really nice suede dress that I can't wear right now because I'm too fat and I'm nursing. Hopefully by next winter that will change.

The rest of my wardrobe consists of a few basic skirts (2 black, 3 khaki, and one really, really cool metalic dark red one) and loads of t-shirts.

Think I have 3 or 4 dresses and just got the material to make another one, I need to make a heavier one for when it's cold. Probably 5 or 6 skirts though.

Actual dresses?? I have 3 hanging in my closet, but 2 of them are too small and the third is not always practical for teaching in (I have become a fan of pockets on my clothes for pens and such so I am not constantly searching for them - plus since the dress is all one piece, it is harder to bend down with the kids). I have like 5 skirts though. 3 black (two dressy, one jean) a kakai (that I got nail polish on) a white one and a suade one that is too hot to wear down here- not at all sure why I brought it along. I guess that makes 6 skirts.

I like skirts/dresses and will see about making/finding some more this summer when I am home. I have been wearing pants more just to help with variety (and again, pockets!!!!) but next year would like to wear more skirts/dresses to work. I also wear dresses/skirts to church- I was brought up that way and feel like I am "sinning" if I don't (not that I am, but it was ingrained in me that way growing up).

1 Winter
4 Summer (3 need to be altered)
and
2 Summer that I've ordered, but haven't received yet; they may not be keepers

I usually wear slacks or skirts to dress up, but am trying to branch out a bit since cotton is more popular now. It's a lot easier to find summer dresses in cotton than winter.
