LOL -- note I didn't say only if I'm getting married ... :P
Dh's brother is getting married in October, and that will most likely be the next time I wear makeup ... I used to wear it for weddings and funerals ... but then gave up on the funeral makeup, since it ended up all over the place anyway! (Gotta love highly emotional women!)

I must be in a really warped mood today.
As I was reading your post about not wearing makeup to funerals anymore, I thought, "Well yeah, because the dearly departed won't know one way or another."

I wear both. Lipstick for color, and gloss to shine. Actually, I wear 3 things. I do chapstick first to protect my lips, then comes the lipstick (but I use the glossy kind in a tube, not the chalklike stick), then on top comes the clear lipgloss.

I use both. Lipstick for color and a frosty gloss over that for shine. I also have tinted gloss for casual days when I don't really want lipstick, just a little color and shine.
