I realize (through the experience with my son) that sometimes, their biggest challenge of the day, is emotional. Help them to fight off depression and guard their spirit with Yours, dear Father. Help them to concentrate on the things that they are capable of doing, and not on the things that are (presently), out of reach for them to do anymore. Dry their tears of sorrow, from feeling "left out", Father God! Give a desire to people, to 'include' the less fortunate Lord; so that their very presence around others, will make them feel more comfortable and welcomed. Please teach 'us' and 'them' how to adjust to the change that has come into their lives.

I am praying for all the disabled tonight. There is a man that lives where I work, he is in a wheelchair and will never walk, his hands and feet are turned totally around in the opposite direction, I just feel for him. BUT, he gets around and does not want anyone helping him or opening the doors for him, he does it all...AMAZING!!
