ORIGINAL: doinkdom And, since you don't have to pay Avon until you go to order again (every two weeks) there is some grace in there to get payment from customers who are out of town, etc. My next order goes in on Monday. That was a problem for me. I didn't like that we had to put our orders in every two weeks and books changed so often. My business now is still skincare but we don't really have books. I mean we do have product guides, but for the most part everything is online and people can order whenever they want to. We have monthly sales that go out via e:mail or post card to customer and sometimes they do semi monthly specials. But other than that, it is very cut and dry. But Avon does have some things that I did like. Just not enough for me to want to keep it as a business. My mom was my best customer and she still asks if I will sell just so she can buy her stuff that I don't sell with my L'Bri. I have thought about it, but at the same time, she can do the same so I really don't want to. But like I said, if we can order via e:mail, I can do that when I need things, and so can my mom.
