You are correct. The verse you are referring to is found in Rev.20:14. "Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death." However this does not mean that they are annihilated into non-existence. Rev.20:10 has this to say about those in the lake of fire. "They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."
 What "Yeshuashme" said in Post#22 is what I wish we could all say about hell. "I have no intensions on going there... I know my salvation is secure." Jesus tells us in John 5:24 it may be secure if we will but believe in Him. "I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."
