The only people who watched Lawrence Welk were some really mean foster parents. Later, if I'd visit someone who was watching it, I'd have to leave the room until the show was over or the channel was changed.

I used to LOVE Lawrence Welk. And that was as a child and teenager! I loved the dancers, Guy and Ralna and loved Norma (the soprano). I'd love to see some reruns!

My grandmother used to make me watch Lawrence Welk with her. I'm still not sure why everyone else wasn't forced to watch it with her.

But then we would watch Are You Being Served and Keeping Up Appearances, so I tolerated it (plus my grandmother could give a mean back scratching, so she would scratch my back while I watched....I was young and easy to please apparently!)

My dad used to watch it everyweek when I was a kid. I'm sorry, but I could only stand to watch about ten minutes of it then I would have to go. The orchestra was good but it got way too kitch and campy for me.

i use to watch the show whenever i went to my grandmothers place it seemed to have always been on!!!!!!! [:D]
