I mentioned that I was tired in earlier post. Well, when I first came home I flipped the light switch on in the kitchen and the bulb blew. Came on to the computer for a few. On the way to recliner, remembered the bulb needed changing. So while Mrs. C. was looking for the bulbs, I got a two step ladder and took the globe thingy off the light fixture. Came down off the ladder and was going to go to help Mrs. C. reach the light bulbs in the laundry room. When I stepped over the ladder one foot did not clear. It caught the ladder and down I went. Both knees hit the floor and head hit side of fridge. Sure glad I am hard headed. Will be very sore tomorrow morning I am sure. Thought I might have a big knot on my head but did not. Lucky that it was not worse. Took a few minutes to get up from floor with Mrs. C's help.
Mrs. C. would not let me back on ladder to change the bulb. She got a taller step ladder and finished the job.

I'm glad you didn't get seriously hurt! I hope you're not too sore tomorrow.

Heeeeeeeeeeere, Uniqua!

That's one of GB's favorite shows.

When you mentioned her brown eyebrows, it made me think "Brooke". A day or two ago I was talking to somebody else in the forums and had said that I don't pluck my eyebrows...the Brooke Shields look was fine with me and less painful.

Christi, I am so sorry! When you called earlier, I answered the phone but was on another line so I didn't tell you it was me. I was thrilled to hear from you though. I still can't believe I actually talked to you!

^ Sony's post and then Bethany's post...

Okay, we now know which other sister I spoke with and we now know that Sony pulled the wool over my eyes when I was tryin' to pull it over hers.

That's funny stuff!

It was wonderful to talk to you today, Sony! Isn't it so much fun to hear each other's voice after "talking" here for so long?

It definitely is. It totally blessed me, especially knowing what a sacrifice it was for you. When I asked who was calling, I noticed you hesitated before saying who you were and generally I would have asked what it was regarding but, since I had someone on the other line, my thought was just to get off the first call and take your call. What would you have said if I asked why you were calling?

It cracked me up that you remembered that conversation and then commented on my sacrifice on the phone.

I hesitated because I had intended for GB to break out in song as soon as you answered and the fact that I had to say something first threw me off. Had not thought of that scenario.

If you had asked why I was calling, I suppose I would have said "to wish her a happy birthday", but I had not considered that scenario either. I had GB practice her "Happy birthday, Sony!" so much today that it is all I could think of.

You got a few songs out of her too. That was great! Sometimes she'll do that and sometimes she won't.

You should have seen my other sisters faces when I told them that, "Christi (from the SN forums) and GB called." She asked, "Who's GB?" and I (without thinking) said, "Gorgeous Baby." She said, "She actually calls herself that?!?" I think she thought it was someone else from the forums.
So then, I of course had to tell them about cutieman (QtMan).

Thanks Pam. They did win the second game. So a 50-50 (1-1) day is better than a 0-2.

Yep Santa, a 500 playing avg. is good...are you sure you weren't just upset from the Braves losing the game and that's why you fell off the ladder???? ....the Braves aren't worth dying for--GO ORIOLES!! Seriously, take care of yourself and keep the anti-inflammatories going!

Hi Pam, My name is Gary. I am a KC Royals fan, the poster child for bad baseball.

I also like college baseball. In August I go to a 40 team, 2 week tournament. I get to see 25 games in 5 or 6 days.

Hey Gary nice to meetcha. Hehe on the bad poster child team. When I was growing up I enjoyed watching the Royals third baseman George Brett...great hitter from the left-side. It's awesome you are going to all those games this summer. One of my dreams is to attend a game at every MLB ballpark, except Yankee stadium of coarse
