Daniel is 21, and my sisters range from 21 - 26 so they're pretty young.

Lynn, your dinner is one of my favorites except that I would substitute rice for mashed potatoes. Yum!

Bethany's making me salad so I plan to eat that soon. Not sure what we're having for dinner but the salad will be a nice appetizer.

Oh no!! Now I do feel old...I could be Daniel's mother!!!!!

I switch the rice and mashed potatoes out for one another...just depends on what I'm in the mood to cook as they say.

Y'all come on over...I'm sure there will be plenty!
Thanks for the well wishes for my son...the one that is near the same age as Daniel ...I'm sure he will be fine. He's up to date on all of his immunizations and they require the dogs to be up to date as well or they cannot stay there so he should be fine. Maybe a stitch or two and a sore finger that he will whine about for a few days.

Not at the moment.

And if I did, Sharon-Marie has volunteered to work for free.

did you say free?
Yep, you read it right, WWH2.

Sharon-Marie's weird like that
(well, and in other ways also).

Surely even McD's could not mess up a chicken sandwich.

I've had one and I thought it was pretty bad.

I knew about the giveaway today and did not want a free one...we went to Chick-fil-A.
That's just my opinion.

Yeah! They didn't invent the chicken sandwich, just perfected it.

Well, I took the plunge (it was free, after all).

It was excellent, almost exactly like Chick-fil-a, but perhaps a little more flavor. Also, it seemed to be shaped more naturally, not "molded".

No waffle fries though.

I'm glad you liked it. Maybe my taste buds were off that day. I do like their southern style chicken biscuit. I thought it was very good.

Good touch taking away the rice and putting in mashed potatoes. Yummy.

I figure it's the perfect way to counterbalance the sugar I'm eating these days. It at least makes me feel like I'm taking care of myself.

Thinking of how young Daniel and my sisters are makes me feel old too. I can remember being 21 but it seems like ages ago!

Sony: I looked at your company website, and it is a great site.

Also: Your mother has one of the coolest names I've ever seen.

Thank you, Kerr. My mom gets a fair amount of comments on her name when people first hear it. Most people assume it's a man's name but, knowing her all my life, to me, it's just a great name for a writer.

Santa, It's good to see you. Could you ask Bethany what we have to eat?

I was thinking the salad was just the appetizer.

Bethany, what do y'all have to eat for the birthday week girl?

As of right now, I will have the pleasure of driving to Ga. and back (8 hrs) prior to coming to work for 8 hrs. tomorrow. Will be a fun day for sure.

I hope so. The salad was supposed to be appetizer; we just haven't figured out the main course part. I'm perpetually hungry so they're used to me mentioning that fact.

I think my sisters are concerned about me. I was playing Franky Valli on YouTube and they're not too sure about my imitation. My favorite line is "You better ask your mama. Tell her everything is all right." Yeah. Right.

Tomorrow sounds fun. Will anyone be travelling with you?
