Well I am not calling for a ban, I just think it is wrong and would not allow it in my home. I know that video games have an effect on some children. My youngest was in kindergarden, a female. She played " Laura Croft and the tomb raider games. She became more violent in behavior even drawing a shotgun killing people. My other two would fight constantly, after playing it, and even my husband would be agressive. I accidently stepped on them. My husband plays the military games, hey plays the real one, so that is his business. My girls are older, all have all the game systems, the DS thing, play computer games also. This is still my home, and as for me and my house we serve the Lord, is my motto. earthless, I did not call you a sinner, but, for myself it is not of faith so it is sin for me. I am sure you do not want adorable baby when he gets big enough to play this, I don't know, maybe you have a different view. I use to think VG had no effect on kids, until the experience I wrote about above. There were many factors at Colombine, but, the game what was it? Doom? or something? This game did not help with there agressive behaviors. I do not want my children, who get completely focused on these games ( trance like), to say "Wow I am rewarded for this behavior, violence, bad language, sex". This maybe ok for some parents, no comdenation on my part, I do not know your kids, I am not head of your household, just mine in this area anyway (LOL) and this is my conviction.
