flowerz -> Shingles versus torchon to replace roof? (5/9/2008 12:36:54 PM)

We need to replace our tar & gravel roof, which is a low sloping type of roof. We live in a rainy climate. My husband is having a hard time deciding between the two. Torchon is supposed to be better, yet shingles have a much better warranty.
