I came to the conclusion that if aliens do exist (and I'm not saying they do) and they are able to reach Earth, and humans have encountered them, then their society probably works much like our own. Just like our society has laws that protect animals, they probably have laws that tell them to stay away from Earth and not to mess with life on Earth. However, just like our society has criminals, psychopaths, sociopaths, gangs, etc..., their society probably has criminals, psychopaths, sociopaths, gangs, etc... and, just like our society is unable to enforce all the laws all the time, neither is their society. Some alien "kids" who just got their spaceship licenses could think it's fun to come to Earth and mess with us, and their law enforcement is not omniscient to enforce their laws everywhere all the time. Same thing could be true with alien gangs. Why might these kids (or alien gangs) think it's fun to mess with us? Why do different humans do half the things that they do? Two different humans may act in completely opposite manners under the same circumstances. Different humans act differently and exhibit a wide range of opposite behaviors. Why do aliens supposedly abduct cows? Perhaps they have laws that say they're not supposed to mess with life on Earth and experiment with it, but maybe at times some break those laws (that's not to say we should judge all aliens based on the actions of a few). Who knows. This is all speculation and I don't think aliens exist anyways (I think most of it is either pranks or misinterpreted naturalistic phenomena and the remainder could be fallen angels). If aliens do exist, I wouldn't have a problem with it from a Biblical perspective though. But if they do exist, people try to paint all these conspiracy theories about how they're against us and how they're out to get us. If they exist, most of them probably pay very little, if any, attention to us, and heck, many may not even know we exist.
