ORIGINAL: Pauley464 People assume that because I'm a single man, I can't cook Thats ridiculous! Isn't it true that men are the best chefs?![:)] Of course it is. Especially when it comes to cheesecake. [:)] [sm=icon_smile_faint.gif] Cherry, strawberry, blueberry, peaches[sm=chef.gif] Cherry and strawberry are good for now. Pumpkin when it starts getting cold. I only like blueberries and peaches in cobblers. [:)] I thought of something that is a double standard. If a woman is a single parent she is desperate for someone to take care of her, or living in poverty, or somehow got herself into that situation. If a man is a single parent he's perceived as brave and amazing just someone who is going above and beyond what he should be doing. Mind you...these are stereotypes...not my perceptions.
