It certainly does! Her swimming lessons are every day for two weeks, and now we've missed the last four days of it!

Thanks for the info on the chiropractic stuff. Once Dh qualifies for insurance at work it won't be a problem, it will be covered.

Well, familiar to me. I think it has it's own tune, so nothing from another song. We learned it in kindergarten.

Last week when we were out in the car in the mornings we were singing along with TruDog on TobyMac's cd DiverseCity. "I'm a Jesus freak fo' real. Don't need no training wheels!".

Jen - "This is the Day" is the song that I sing in the morning! I also like to sing "Praise on the Inside" by J. Moss

"There's a praise on the inside that I can't keep to myself. A holler stirring up from the depths of my soul. So excuse me if I seem a little giddy or maybe even strange. But praise is the way I say thanks!"

(Although this morning I woke up with that stupid I Kissed A Girl song in my head and I am seriously annoyed.)

Haha! My kids hate when I sing that in their grumpy faces in the morning.

(Yes, two non-morning people have created non-morning little people...and we're surprised??)

Hey ladies...it's been a while since I've been here. I am really frustrated this morning...for a few different reasons, so it was good to see all of the posts about morning songs. I think I will get online and get the Christian music station pulled up and listen to some music while the kids are playing quietly (FOR A HUGE CHANGE!). (Ha, just as I mentioned that, both boys came to me to find something new to do...) So, now they are settled for another while...but with something not so quiet...oh well. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement. Now, for a ladies question and one of the things making me frustrated.

*For the past couple of days, I have found myself really edgy...just getting set off at the smallest things, not patient at all, and when I'm bothered, I'm extremely bothered. I cried in the floor the other day...for a short period only because I couldn't get my house cleaned up because the kids kept messing it up...I really have felt like I could literally pull my hair out. Now, that said, this happens every month around that time of the month, and I rarely realize that it's due to that until the day comes that I notice that she's come to visit... I wasn't like this early in life...I think it started after my first child was born that I really started to feel this way around that time of the month. It wears me out feeling this way...gives me headaches, and just makes me feel like the whole world is collapsing around me. Is this just PMS? How do you deal with this?!

Now for the other thing bothering me...remember my banking account problem...well, we are at least making some steps in the right direction with the bank...but the company is making things even worse. I call on Tuesday to ask if I owe a payment this month with all that's going on...I get the answer...."No, you don't owe anything this month. You next payment will be in August." Okay, so I don't make a payment...today, they call me and tell me that I am WAY past due, my account is $230 over the limit, and I have to get it back under the limit before they report it. HuH? You still haven't refunded all the unauthorized money you owe to me, yet I am overlimit that much?! I tried to talk to the lady, but she just said that she'd note my account and then she hung up. About 10 minutes later, the same number called me, I heard laughing, then hello, then laughing, and then they hung up. Could this lady that works for this company be doing something as childish as a prank call? That is really what it sounded like. *sigh* This situatiion wears me out too... BLAH!

SAHM moment:

I am sitting on the couch cruising crosswalk and being entertained by my kids' "show & tell show". They each run out of the room and get a toy or something and take turns getting up and tellings us all about it. Too cute!
Everything little Riley brings up she dances with!

Hey VinW,

We must have cross-posted! I wasn't around to hear about your bank troubles, but I can sure relate. It is scary just how much can get messed up when our money isn't really real anymore, just numbers on a computer screen. I hope that lady was in the middle of a break, laughing over an office joke and accidentally hit a button to redial your number.

As far as feelings of being out of control and over emotional, I feel the same way sometimes and never put it together with my cycle. I'll have to start tracking that, so thanks for sharing. I wish I could tell you something to make it all better, but the best I've got is a me too. (((hug)))

There's a kids show here called Toopy and Binoo (not sure if you get it there, it's French Canadian), anyways Akeelah isn't allowed to watch it because it's inappropriate.....but the song is always stuck in my head!

"Toopy, Toopy. Binoo, Binoo. Toopy and Binoo!"
(you need the music to get the full effect, but really how can three words always be in my head???)

Lexie, what do you find inappropriate about that show? I've never sat down and watched it, but I've heard it on in the background before?
We don't really watch much for kids shows, but sometimes I just put it on the treehouse channel.

Funny. There is a cartoon that my kids watch sometimes...Max and Ruby. The song for that sounds similar to this... not that it's stuck in my head, but it just intrigued me that they both revolved around three words...

"Max and Ruby, Ruby and Max. Max and Ruby, Ruby and Max. Max and Ruby!"

Hmmm, I heard it somewhere, actually, I think it was somebody else's signature on a canadian pregnancy forum somewhere!

Once I saw it, I typed it up and taped it to the top of my monitor at work, it's on my fridge now

{{{ViW}}} (I forget your real name )

You are under a lot of stress right now. It's not surprising for normal PMS stuff to turn into melt-downs in that situation.
I have been learning over the years to get ahold of my emotions, however, the last couple of weeks I've been feeling a little nutty--irritable, discontent, weepy, etc. When I don't know what's causing it and can't fix it right away, it does help to have a good cry, but I take myself to some quiet spot before I do it. Generally, I also take those times as a sign I need to spend more time with God.

I wonder if it might be a good time to start recording conversations with the credit companies--is that legal where you live? Although you yourself should be aware of how much you owe and when your payments are due, if they are giving you dishonest answers or misinformation, they need to be held accountable.

You know, when it says we have 79 pages, but we really only have 78 so when you click on the 79 link it gives you the error.

Or I suppose I could post useless messages until the page flips
