Okay..here come the remaining pics!!! Enjoy!! (Note...no sense of order).

Singleton taking a guitar lesson. But alas, his hands were too short.

Singleton taking a rest before his big trip to Disney!

Singleton, safely arriving in FL, tries on his jungle hat and boots the night before going in to work.

Not ready to sleep yet, he plays a game of "Where's Singleton?"

Driving in to work. He's on I-4, and he sees the first sign!!!

Singleton is at Disney World! That's the Secret!

The back side of space mountain. Going into "non-guest" territory.

Time to get a costume! But the shirts are soooo big!

Back home in TX...

Hanging out with Gladys and Ethel.

Looking out the backyard, seeing fine texas flatland, no trees, and an oil rig.

Fun pictures Tina. You did take one of my ideas for when he is here though...I was going to do a "Where's Singleton" picture with him and all my bears. Oh well....your's was very cute!

I thought he might be waiting for me when I got home tonight but he wasn't here. Maybe tomorrow. Hope he packed his rain coat...I think it's going to rain all weekend.

Just wanted to let you all know Singleton arrived safe and sound. Just in time...I'm about ready to head off to the rehab facility to visit with my grandma for a bit and then drive over to my home town for the weekend. So, I won't have computer access for a few days but I know we'll have a fun time and I'll post pictures when we get back.

ta ta for now!

On Friday night on my way over to Cheboygan I stopped to see my grandma at the rehab center and I had Singleton with me and she fell in love with him. Just had to share a picture of my grandma hugging him

On Saturday my sister and I took Singleton to Mackinac City to play fudgies for the day. We were actually going to get him a true to size Mackinac City Fudgie t-shirt but then forgot that the place that makes stuff like that burned down several weeks ago.

And by the way.....fudgie is just a local term for tourists around here.

So....here is Singleton at one of the main attractions of Mackinac City....the Mackinac Bridge, also known as the Mighty Mac.

Singleton at the Mighty Mac

This one is a little blurry of Singleton but you can see the bridge a little better....

Another shot at the Mighty Mac

I have to give just a little background to the event around the next couple pictures....when we got to the beach to get the pictures of the Mighty Mac there was a big group of Boy Scouts there having a picnic. How nice.

Well, move forward and after the pictures of the bridge I decided to get a picture of Singleton at the big lighthouse. As you can see in this first picture you can hardly see him....he's sitting on the lightpost...

Singleton at the Old Mackinac Point Light

Nice picture, but like I said, can't really see Singleton so I decide to zoom in a little on him. Just as I snapped the picture he got impatient with me and took a nose dive off the post....if you look closely enough he's still in the air close to the bottom of the picture.

Singleton takes a nose dive

Here's a cropped picture of the nose dive so you can see him a little better....

close up of the nose dive

So....after I realized he fell and not realizing I got it on picture I ran over to him to rescue him and when I turned around to go back to my spot I see that I had dropped my camera case....which looks like a wallet. As I was walking to go pick that up, out of nowhere the whole herd of boyscouts are running to see who can get what they thought was a lost wallet....they were so focused on it they didn't even see me walking over to it and I could hear one say "wow...do you think there's any money in it" and another say "you won't know because I'm going to get it first" and just as they got to it I was close enough to break it to them it was just a camera case. They were all kind of embarassed and sheepishly handed it over to me. My sister was a little distance away and when she got closer she said "I think you were about ready to be robbed by a bunch of Boy Scouts. I got such a kick out of that whole scene. It was funny. We saw them later at a totally different location and when we saw them we kind of laughed and said "hang on to your wallets!"

Anyway...I know, you want more on Singleton....back in a bit with a few more of our adventures of the day.

Singleton with a little of the local wildlife....

Singleton....fish bait?
And yes, that's a real fish. One of the shops has a very large aquarium with the different fish you can find around here and this bass kept following my every move so I decided to take advantage of that and get a picture of Singleton with him.

Singleton with Smokey's cousin

And after a lot of wandering around we stopped in the Popcorn Factory and I hit the jackpot. I only went in for a little bit and they gave me a bunch for free!

Popcorn, anyone?

There were a whole lot more places I had planned to visit in Cheboygan but our adventures were a little cut short with the ER drama again last night. I will be heading back over to Cheboygan in a few days though so will make up for it then. In the mean time I'll try to find places around here that are fun and will post as we get them.

It's a place called Mackinaw Outfitters. Kind of like a Cabela's. I love the aquarium there.

Sorry all that I haven't had any pictures to post for a couple days. It's been kind of rainy and dreary here a bit and things just aren't as fun or appealing when it's like that.

Tonight when I was on my way home I noticed on Lake Charlevoix which is right by where I live there were a whole bunch of sail boats. It was really pretty but I couldn't seem to get a very good picture. I have a very simple camera so not much I can do. And there wasn't anything to sit Singleton on so you get another one of him peaking in on the picture. Not real exciting but at least you can see that Singleton is getting to see the area.

Singleton at Lake Charlevoix

And when we got home we just decided to chill a bit out on the patio...

Chillin' with Singleton

I work just a hop skip and a jump from Lake Michigan so I'll try to get some shots there in the next day or so...the weather is suppose to clear up a bit.

I hope to have pictures that are a bit more fun in the next couple days.
