Has anyone here ever lost a parent to suicide? My dad commited suicide 2 years ago on may 18th? when i was 15 about to be 16 If you have lost someone how are you dealing with things how do you feel now?

Now almost 18 and out of school i am dealing with Depression and Anxienty Disorder. I miss him terribly but the pain has lifted some. I have my good days dont get me wrong it has just brought on some really messed up stuff to happen to my family, you know the whole blame game, and my gramma trys to get us to go to her instead of our mom....trying to bribe us.....(Dad's mom).

Allison, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I have not lost a parent or anyone to suicide, but have spoken to a few who have. May I suggest that you speak to a counselor or a grief support group like GriefShare? Well, I guess I just did suggest it. There are a lot of feelings, like guilt, sorrow, anger (at dad, mom, maybe God, others, etc.) that need to be sorted through. Counseling may help a lot with the depression & anxiety.
