I always get a kick out of watching people do their entire car this way! (Maybe it's just a Toronto thing!)

I've never seen anyone do that, I'd get yelled at if I blocked a pump for too long.

I run mine through the car wash about twice a month.

I get it detailed once a year and run it through the car wash another couple of times a year.

Supreme Court Justice David Souter once owned a car for 14 years and never washed it.

I run mine through an automatic car wash once or twice a month depending on how much money I have to spare. I don't feel like I do a very good job washing the car myself, even if I go to one of those do-it-yourself car washes. I also have read that using a car wash is better for the environment because car washes recycle the water.

I send it to the car wash about once a month... [8D]

I take mine thru the car wash every couple of weeks or whenever it needs it.

Then once every 2-3 months, I take it to a place that puts it through the normal car wash, but then they dry it by hand, shine the tires and wheels and give it an interior cleaning. They vacuum it out, clean the inside windows, the dash, everything. They do a great job for $15 and it's well worth paying them so I don't have to do it.
