Ooo, I've been nominated for snars! Yay!
Also, I would just like to say that, despite my best efforts, Ps103 declined my attempts at bribery. The integrity of the snars is upheld!

Yes, you did quote Scripture and you are correct: you did not use logic.

You beat me to it, phosadaud. I came >< this close to posting: "I'd have to agree with you there. " in the actual thread in question, but decided I didn't need a TOS tonight. So I came over here and found your lovely snark, which I like better than mine. I think I need lessons in this....

That's why I had to come here. I was going to hurt myself if I didn't post it...

I hear you. Most of the time I just have to contain myself, since I don't have much time to post. It's as much as I can do to keep up with everyone and read around, but tonight I happen to be up for a while. And it was such a beautiful opening, I just couldn't resist.

[A post I really wanted to make in a thread yesterday:]

I looked back in to see if you've finally come up with legitimate support for your position. Instead, I find you're taking Bible lessons from a self-professed apostate. I know you see nothing wrong with that picture, but I feel a lot more confident with my position and realize why posting in here has been a waste of my time.

LOL

How about: I'm so glad you found out that God backs up your opinion on the subject.

Ya know, Albert Einstein once said, "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity..."

You have done a good job proving him right on the second part!

If you want to seem intelligent, just post the opposite of what you really think.

God gave you an imagination so you could make up these fairy tales. God gave me a sense of humor so that I could laugh at you. Thanks!

Out of curiosity, what are your views on being a man/woman of your word? I only ask because you have said you are finished with this thread several times, but you're still here.

Pardon me, I'm quite certain this observation will offend your delicate sensibilities but, your behavior thus far in this thread would indicate that you are the very type of person the OP is referring to.

Machiavelli stated: “There are three different kinds of brains, the one understands things unassisted, the other understands things when shown by others, the third understands neither alone nor with the explanations of the others."

Okay, stay with me here...there's just a bit more to the quote...

"The first kind is most excellent, the second also excellent, but the third useless.”

I don't get it. Can you explain it to me so I can still not get it?

Apparently what I said did not compute. Close your eyes do a mental hot boot and read it again.

Well, we can follow the plan that God so carefully laid out from Genesis to Revelation or we can go with yours: "Eeeny, meeny, minie, moe..."

If your point were true, then why do you suppose God hasn't managed to clue the rest of Christendom in sometime during the past couple of millennia?
