Hello to everyone who is taking the time to read this...

Like the subjet hinted: I am a recently born again Christian who God is blessing in more ways than I could have ever dreamed, and I just want to soak in everything I can learn about his truth and Word because I never listened or belived it before.

I know now that He is more real than anything, (philosophy, science,;and I am a Biology major, so it was the only truth i knew befor) and now he is proving His promises to me every day.

I have so much to discuss, and I do attend a wonderful wonderful church and a bible study on wensday, but I dont really know christians outside of there to discuss things with.

I am restarting my life, for I have truly been reborn in grace.

I can be added to the list of people who created thier own hells on earth with drugs, alcohol, abusive men, self hatred, depression and hoplesness. But today I can stand infront of everyone who has ever hurt me, ever seen me suffering from my own fault, or just seen me struggleing to make it through the day; without shame I say to them: "I have been restored through the blood of Jesus Christ!"

If there are any great sorces of information anyone know about or maybe something like a christianity based myspace or facebook I would really love to get involved in an online community like that.

I have been on faithitup's site, but not spent much time there. I find I spend most of my time on this forum. But check them out and tell me what you think.

As for an online Christian community I would say the one you posted in is fairly good. Here you will find a variety of beliefs with people from all ends of the faith community from Atheists to Penticostal to Baptists to Catholics to Jews and liberals to conservatives. Keep reading the Bible and you will see many good topics here, check them against what you read in Scripture. You may find a lot of good info here as well as not so good but with study of Scripture it may give you perspective of how others see things and at times good insight into the Scriptures. And Weclome to the family of believers and the Forum

Praise be to Him! and congratulations to you! I was born again a few months back and the blessings just keep rolling in. i know exactly how you feel, especially coming from a background based on science rather than faith. there's a fella named Kent Hovind who was doing seminars on what he called creation science evangelism. he explains the creation in scientific terms (and really he covers basically everything you could possibly have a question for) and disproves evolution. now keep in mind that the only one who can explain everything is the Lord, but his explanations are just as plausible as anything you've learned to the contrary in school or wherever. he has a seminar that spans 7 dvds. you can find them on borders.com for about 4 dollars a disc. i highly highly recommend it for someone who comes from a scientific background.
