Okay ... after that how much wood thing, here's a quote my dh LOVES repeating at least a few times each week

Now say THAT really quickly ... he loves that saying because I am always telling him to write things down before he forgets!!!
(Oh, and my personal theory about the chromosomal difference between men and women ... we are XX ... they are XY because we are always asking WHY they thought this that or the other thing!)

A man was in his front yard mowing grass, when his attractive blonde female neighbor, Judy, came out of her house and went straight to the mailbox. She opened it, then slammed it shut and stormed back into the house.
A little later she came out of her house again, went to the mail box, and again opened it and slammed it shut again. Angrily, back into the house she went.
As the man was getting ready to edge the lawn, she came out again, marched to the mail box, opened it and then slammed it closed harder than ever.
Puzzled by her actions the man asked her, "Is something wrong?"
To which she replied, "There certainly is! My stupid computer keeps saying, YOU'VE GOT MAIL."

LOL @ everyone - these are great!
A piece of string walks into a bar and asks for a drink. The server shakes his head and says, "I'm sorry, we don't serve string here." So the string hangs his head and walks out.
Out on the sidewalk, he puts on those glasses + moustache combos and a hat. He walks back in and in a different voice, asks again. The server again shakes his head and says, "I'm sorry, I know you're that same piece of string!" So the string says, "Okay, can I at least use your washroom?" The server agrees.
The string walks to the bathroom, ties himself up, teases his hair, and walks back out. He sits at the bar and demands a drink.
The server looks at him suspiciously and says, "Hey, aren't you that piece of string?"
And the string says, "Nope! I'm afraid not! (A frayed knot)."
