Lord God I pray that You would give Emily the rest that she needs, the peace that she needs and the endurance and strength that she needs from you. Lord I pray that her labor would start, that her contractions be effective and she would be able to do what she needs to do to work with them. Keep her and her baby safe. Give her husband and midwife team wisdom, love and strength as well as they labor with her. Thank you Father for making her fearfully and wonderfully made, and for this new little life. Amen.

I finally fell asleep around 12:00. I woke up at 3:00 with a backache. It is now 5:12 and I am having contractions (that I feel mostly in my back) about every 7 minutes. Laying in bed makes it hurt more so I am not able to sleep. I am trying to let Chris sleep until at least 6:00.

Last time the midwife checked (last Friday) he was not posterior, but he could have turned since then.
I am tired but can't sleep.
I am also very hungry. Any suggestions for breakfast?

Ladies, I need prayer right now. I am in extreem pain. The contractions are coming hard and fast. I already feel like I can't do it. The midwife is on her way.

Praying for you Emily!!! If you haven't woke Chris up yet, I would do that so you have some support. You can do this!! God will give you the strength for each contraction/minute of it.
