GospelProducer, I have to say MSnurse deserves the credit for the look of the site. of course this is just off template. when it gets to html a short time in future site is going to be unique.

Bobby, I can't wait. am putting aside money now for material, have some songwriters talking to me, and working on musicians. I hate tracks but I know getting started until can finance a full group may just be the singers alone.

thanks Santa. as said in now playin thread, been listening last several minutes to samples emailed to me from songwriters. I put a music space up on a Christian alternative to myspace and wow have I been getting offers from songwriters. one listening to now she is from Knoxville and can she write. didnt give a name but I LOVE this song.

will be keeping that in mind. I know when I get it started going to cut most likely a mix cd(((origional or two from members, a few sent to the group, and rest some covers of songs that mean a lot to members of group.))) just to have something to sell at shows and be able to send to stations and such to hopefully get a lil airplay on occasion. I want to eventually start a small label for local unsigned artists. but all that comes in time

Santa thats future plans. like a record company for smaller artists, publishing company for smaller artists. first step on record company will be a production comapny

well, in negotiation with a songwriter. seems will be getting 3 songs or so a year from him and his wife.[:D]

and hits, not sure where all coming from but 58 hits first 2 hours the site was up and close to 300 since it opened.

what do you guys think? start with some written material, or covers as a first cd?


I plan on making 15 or 20 tracks that way won't be singing same songs constantly. might also record them and "leak" them to others. hehehehehe. but also am talking to a tenor from the area. he seems to think am more a lead singer than baritone. who knows. never have studied it but may shift to lead.

Joey there used to be a quartet comprised of police officers from the Dothan area. They have disbanded but you might be able to track them down and fill a couple of positions.

I will look into it Sam. going to be in Emerald Coast SGMA or trying to. they may be able to help me find some to fill it out if I even go quartet route. as I said in an email to someone just now sent. I am letting God lead me how He wants this to go. may be a mixed group Qt with a female piano to do female harmony. or all male, this is God's work. so how it goes He leads.

But will be looking up them. or try to.

well, I plan on my group, each person playing an instrument. true band and singing all in one. but it wont be the suit wearing either. Jesus wore a robe and sandals, I am not a better than He is so I won't be out trying to outdress Him or the people in crowd.

but after all the praying and fasting I feel that is where God wants me to go.

I talked to some friends today at lunch and all them are waiting for me to get the group going. so that let's me know will have some shows lined up here in Laurel area. and more than likely a lot of cd sales

well, my brother said tonight he would love to sing a few songs with me and sing backup for me. he also will hopefully be able to provide my album with some instruments totally new to SG [:)]

well, as said in Geezer's. when my first album is recorded. my little cousin will be sing ing one song on it. a very beautiful little girl with a very beautiful voice. so may be 11 songs on it.

well I told Pam last night on phone this bit of info.

We had a Church function last night. a lot at the Church love SG and one couple in particular. the Pastor introduced me to them and I had a long talk with them. seems there is a few guys up in Dothan area that play instruments and sing SG/P&W/CCM which I want a blend of the 3 in my sound. so just sit back, God will take care of you if you give Him time.

I also have a deal in works to have the financing for most likely 2 cd's at minimum.

but as it stands now, Spiritual Warfare is taking off. will be adding info to the website here soon.

I forgot to add that the worship leader at my new Church and several members all said if needed backup voices they would sing and play instruments. PTL
